 Premier Division supported by Sportsform

Under the floodlights at Weston Park, Wootton Blue Cross moved themselves up into third spot in the league standings with a 6-2 home victory over Baldock Victoria. The hosts took the lead via Aiden Kavanagh in the 10th minute but the visitors were level just four minutes later when Luke Hennessey struck home the equalizer only for Kavanagh to restore the home sides lead just five minutes before the break.

The second period opened with Owen Haynes shooting the visitors level just three minutes into the action until on 67 minutes Isaac Rexworthy once again placed the hosts in front to take a 3-2 lead which this time they were not to lose thanks to a hat-trick from Ryan Aka, making it 4-2 on 79 minutes, 5-2 on 85 minutes and then completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot two minutes from time to give the final scoreline perhaps a false look and do no justice to the efforts of the Victoria who for the majority of the game were at least equal to their hosts and certainly not four goals inferior. They also ended the evening with just 10 players after Kevin Jupp was red carded in the 90th minute.
