11 goal thriller at Weston Park takes the Don's to a 6-5 victory |
Biggleswade FC Reserves took themselves to the top of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform standings when chalking up their fourth win on the bounce with a 4-0 away victory at AFC Oakley who were being beaten for the first time this season. Moussa Jamel opening the scoring in the first half before goals from Josh Roberts, Oscar Smith and Ewan Smailes arrived in the second period. Just a point behind them in second spot and still unbeaten this season are Elstow Abbry who ran out 3-1 home winners over Barton Rovers Reserves who are still in search of their first point of the season and sitting on bottom of the league table. Steve Champion with a brace plus a goal from Tim Clarke doing the damage against a lone Rovers reply via Luke Moos. In third spot now are Cranfield United who retained their seasons 100% ways on the road with a 5-1 victory at Biggleswade United Reserves. Luke Little with a brace plus single goals from Luke Gray, Joel McCormick and Courtney Boughton bringing up the nap hand against a lone home reply from Zac Adan.Just goal difference behind them in fourth spot are Flitwick Town who were 2-1 home winners over Stotfold Development. Dan Stafford plus a Phil Matthews penalty on the Town scoresheet against a lone reply from Gabriel Ryan for the visitors. Elsewhere, Sharnbrook retained their seasons unbeaten ways when sharing the spoils in a 1-1 home draw with Crawley Green Reserves.Kieran Souter the home goalscorer against a Green reply from Benedict Statham. Whilst Queens Park Crescents dropped their first home points of the season when held to a 2-2 draw by Marston Shelton Rovers who were picking up their first away point of the season. Oscar Szaryca and Hassen Yousaf netting for the Crescents and Perry Connolly and Dylan Porter for the Rovers. Meantime, AFC Kempston Town Hammers ran out 3-0 home winners over Shefford Town & Campton Reserves thanks to a brace of goals from Dimaggio Robinson and a strike from Ellis Crowsley.. Plus Caldecote picked up their first home points of the season in beating Riseley Sports 3-2. Jake Bruce, Llloyd Jones and Evan Beldon all finding the back of the net against Sports replies via Sonny Newton Cootes and Jack Hislop. Division One Henlow still lead the way at the head of the Division One standings despite losing their 100% season's ways when held to a 1-1 draw at Bedford Albion. Jamie Hall netting for The Albion and Ethan Taylor from the penalty spot for Henlow. The next five places in the table are covered by just goal difference and headed by Milton Keynes Dons Set U19 Set Development who retained their season's unbeaten ways in winning 6-5 at Wootton Blue Cross. The opening 16 minutes of the game seeing The Blue Cross lead twice with a brace of goals from Reece Mills but end that period 2-3 in arrears following a brace from Dons Fikile Mgobongo to cancel out the Cross's strikes and a third goal from Kingsley Bates. In the 24th minute Jack White made it 3-3 before a second of the afternoon from Bates six minutes from the break saw the Dons 4-3 ahead at half-time. The second period being no less see-saw , Mgobongo completing his hat-trick in the 48th minute to see the Dons 5-3 ahead before back came the Cross via Jakob Addo on 55 minutes and Jake White with his second of the afternoon on 59 minutes to make it all square at 5-5 before the winner arrived for the Dons five minutes later with Bates completing his own hat-trick to see the Dons home to the full three points. Third spot in the table is taken up by Lea Sports PSG who drew 2-2 at now fourth place Cranfield United Reserves. Ryan Phelps and Martin Holland on the United scoresheet against PSG replies via Rhys Cadger and Milton Tomlinson-Dennis. In fifth spot are Renhold who remain unbeaten at home following their 6-3 won over Kempston Rovers Academy U23. Tyrell O'Connor with a brace plus a penalty from Roshan Chagger alongside goals for Nathaniel Kelly, Shane Cox and Saba Mulaku doing the damage against Rovers replies via Plamedi Bomolo twice and Jaden Brown once. Sixth place being taken up by Buffs FC who remain unbeaten on the road this season after winning 4-1 at Bedford Town Under 23's who are still in search of their first point of the season. Jack Roadknight with a brace plus Antony James and Luke Hennesey on the Buffs scoresheet against a lone Town reply from Callum Thornton. Also still looking for their first point of the season are St Josephs ( Saturday ) who were beaten 0-2 at home by AFC Oakley Reserves who claimed their first win of the season thanks to goals from Louis Johnson and Jacob Lawrence. Elsewhere, Totternoe Reserves were the 2-1 home winners over Lewsey Park with goals from Ciaran Newton and Callum Horgan. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro Wootton Blue Cross Reserves made it four wins from four to lead the Division Two supported by Hy-Pro standings by two points when winning 3-1 at Bedford SA who were suffering their first defeat of the season. Noah Marsh, Sam Creamer and Haydon Rothchild-Wilson netting for the Blue Cross against a lone home reply via Ollie Hughes. Whilst in second spot are Westoning Recreation the 4-2 home winners over Stopsley United thanks to braces of goals from Freddie Knight and George McGonagle against United replies via Shay Rawat and Stephen Davie. Just goal difference behind the Rec in third spot are the still unbeaten Harlington Juniors who won 3-0 at The 61 FC Luton Reserves thanks to a brace from Ben Whalley and a goal from Alex Frantellizzi. Also enjoying life on the road were the now fourth place Sporting Carpathians who won 5-0 at Wilstead. Franklin Ojumobi netting twice alongside single goals from Michael Opoku, Jordan Thomas and Michael Brako to bring up the nap hand. For AFC Bedford United it was a 4-1 home victory over Flitwick Town Reserves.. Bradley O'Loughlin, Jesse Van Agen, Sam Nightingale and Lucas Banton all finding the back of the net against a lone Town reply from Dale Goldie. Whilst Brache Phoenix picked up their first point of the season from a 1-1 home draw with Shefford Town & Campton Development. Alex Barbour on the Phoenix scoresheet against a Town reply from Kyle Cook. Elsewhere, Caldecote Reserves were to lose their season's 100% home record when held to a 3-3 draw by AFC Kempston Town Hammers Reserves who were collecting their first point of the season. Nick Thomas twice and James Tubridy netting for the home side against a brace from Kian Morey and a single goal via Luke Platts for the Hammers. Division Three supported by Hy-Pro With Square FC withdrawing from the league just two games into the season meaning a loss of points for both Caddington and Sporting Carpathians Reserves the new leaders of the Division Three supported by Hy-Pro league table are Stotfold Junior following their 6-1 home victory over Newman United. Ross Irving and Jake Kirby both netting twice alongside single goals for Luke Cleverly and Ciaran Mahoney against a lone United reply from Lee Gaffney. However in second spot just goal difference in arrears having played a game less are the forth mentioned Caddington who retained their season's 100% record in winning 2-1 at Sporting Carpathians Reserves with goals from Steve Hunt and Olllie Benham against a home reply from Andrew Francois. Third place just a point adrift of the top two are the still unbeaten Sandy who won 4-1 at Atletico Europa. who still await their first point of the season. Jack Fox, Jack Hutchinson, Joel Jeff and Aiden Howard the Sandy goalscorers against a lone reply from Albert Adeyini.Whilst the likewise still unbeaten Ickwell & Old Warden sit in fourth place after winning 2-1 at FC Haynes Reserves. Jordan Gurney and Danny Fox netting their goals against a lone home reply from Jack Vincent. Fifth place now belongs to Sharnbrook Reserves who won 3-0 at Lea Sports PSG Reserves with goals from Jack Constable twice and Charlie Hurley once.. Also enjoying life on the road were M&DH Clapham Sports who claimed their first win of the season 2-0 at Kempston Rovers BCFL 2-0 with goals from Ryan Field and Luke Lee. Division Four The Division Four league table is now headed by Clifton Reserves following their 15-0 home win over Meltis Rangers ( the result now subject to confirmation having being curtailed ahead of the 90 minutes mark ) Alister Moatt with a hat-trick, alongside braces from Toby Gibbs, George Denham, Jake Edwards, Christian Farrugia and Luke Rowe plus single goals from Michael Biggs and Tony Norman delivering the rout. Whilst just goal difference behind in second spot and still 100% this season are Luton Panthers who were 6-0 home winners over Flitwick Town A with braces from Luciano Witter and Ryan Spencer plus single goals for Trey Brand and Kyle Perry. In third spot two points adrift of the top two are the still unbeaten Blunham who won 4-0 at M&DH Clapham Sports Reserves with goals from William Sells twice plus Jamie Morrallee and David Garofalo with one each. Whilst Bedford Wanderers retained their 100% away record to sit fourth with a 3-1 victory at Leighton Woodside. Luke Foster netting twice and Jay Sharp once against a lone home reply via Alex Pearse. Elsewhere, Kempston Athletic claimed their first win of the season in winning 6-1 at Harlington Juniors Reserves who still await their first point of the season. Lance Jeffers leading the way with a hat-trick alongside single goals from Hayden Bartram, Micheal Wheatley and William Mansah against a lone home reply from Martin Bull. Whilst Caldecote U23's with two goals from Max Plunkett were the 2-0 winners at Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves. Also enjoying life on the road to collect their first points of the season were CS Rovers the 2-1 winners at Revivalists. Ben Rodgers and Daniel Bhatti on their scoresheet against a lone home reply from Keiran Small. Whilst Sandy Reserves were held to a 2-2 home draw by Catsbrook Wanderers. Richard Seldon and Michael Freeman on the home scoresheet and Nick Sharpe plus Louie Smith netting for the Wanderers. |
