Premier Division supported by Sportsform The lone game of the day saw Biggleswade United U23's collect their first points of the season with a 5-2 away win at Bedford Albion. Fraelias Mianembolo netting four times and Jaheem Flemmings once to bring up the nap hand against an own goal and Mark Harlow replying for the Albion. Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy Third Round Sadly a serious leg injury to AFC Oakley's Matt Barnes which require a air ambulance to take him to hospital saw their home tie with Queens Park Crescents abandoned early in the second half when they were leading 3-2. Matt himself having just shot them ahead following earlier goals from Ali Smith and Stuart Gillies against a brace in reply from Crescents Matthew Taiwo. Whilst there was drama of another kind at the Warren which saw Riseley Sports emerge the 4-3 winners over hosts Elstow Abbey with a 90th minute winning penalty taken whilst Abbey goalkeeper Luke Pell watched from the Sin Bin due to his protests over its award alongside Dom Palmieri who had conceeded the kick to receive his second yellow card of the afternoon. Abbey also playing the last 70 minutes of the game a man short following a earlier red card for Glen Tumulity. Aaron Jones, Dom Palmieri and Scott Alleyne marking the Abbey scoresheet with the Sports goals coming via Alex Taylor with a brace alongside single goals for Jay Willett and Sony Newton-Cootes. Also enjoying life on the road were Crawley Green Reserves who won 5-3 at Shefford Town & Campton Reserves. Reece Green leading the way with a hat-trick alongside goals from Rob Newman and Lui Sarrington against home replies via Joe Mead twice and Callum McKivett once. Whilst for Cranfield United it was a walkover into the last eight when AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College failed to raise a side to host them and Stevington also forfeited their home tie against South Midlands League side Shefford Town & Campton. For Biggleswade FC Reserves with goals from Oscar Smith, Chris Richardson and Henry Langley it was a 3-1 home win over their landlords Caldecote whose reply came from Evan Beldon. But it was the end of the Trophy road for Marston Shelton Rovers who had just a Harry Baker goal to show from their 4-1 defeat at Langford and for Sharnbrook who had just a James Barron goal to show for their 3-1 defeat at Stotfold. Division One Stotfold Developments lead at the head of the Division One standings is now up to four points following their 4-1 victory at Cranfield United Reserves. Kurtis Alleyne with a brace plus Kyle Watson and Callum Holmes marking their scoresheet against a lone United reply from Antonio Ricciardi. Whilst for second place Potton United Reserves it was an end to their five match winning ways and 100% seasons home record when beaten 3-1 by St Josephs (Saturday) who now sit third in the table a point ahead of Barton Rovers Reserves who had their home game against Lea Sports PSG at Sharpenhoe Road postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Wayne Mills, Dean Whittaker and Paddy Northern on the St Joes scoresheet against a lone United reply from Emmanuel Folorunso. Now in fifth spot are Tottenhoe Reserves who retained their seasons 100% home record with a 2-1 victory over Henlow. Jake Daley plus an own goal doing the damage against a lone reply from Luke Hills. Whilst Sporting Lewsey Park retained their seasons unbeaten away ways when winning 3-2 at Flitwick Reserves. Chris Gibson with a brace plus a goal from Liam Jarvis only being replied to by Town's Reece Smith and Cameron Lewis. Elsewhere, Pitstone & Ivinghoe Reserves collected their first point of the season when sharing the spoils in a 3-3 draw at Wilstead. Luke Pursey, Myles Hutton and Colin Marshall on the home scoresheet against replies via Jack Harris, Ethan Bryant and Jonathan Barnet. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro Clifton remain 100% for the season and on top of the Division Two league table following their 3-2 home win over AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves. Josh Adams, James Fallart and Elliot Powell netting the goals against a brace in reply from Joel Simpson. Whilst now in second spot are Wootton Blue Cross who retained their seasons 100% away record when goals from Joe Holmes, Joe Bygraves and Harry Newton took them to a 3-0 victory at Harlington Juniors. Losing out on that second spot and dropping a place in third are AFC Oakley Reserves who were beaten 4-0 at Bedford SA. Ollie Raymond with a brace plus goals from Ollie Hughes and Michael Allen doing the damage. Whilst in fourth place are AFC Bedford United who remain unbeaten on the road this season after winning 5-3 at Soccerlise. Jesse Van Agen leading the way with a hat-trick alongside goals from Raiqwan Joseph and Gary Townsend to bring up the nap hand against home replies via Petru Budean, Daniel Dumitrescu and Nathan Field. For Stopsley United it was a return to winning ways following four staight defeats with a 2-0 home win over The 61 FC Luton Reserves thanks to goals from Ryan McQueen and Randy Asre. Whilst Brache Phoenix and FC Haynes shared the spoils from a 2-2 draw. Masum Ahmed and Abdul Rasul on the Phoenix scoresheet against Haynes replies via Scott Fruscante and Aaron Lumsden. Division Three suported by Hy-Pro Sharnbrook Reserves remain on top of the Division Three supported by Hy-Pro standings and still unbeaten this season after winning 4-1 at CS Rovers. Nathern O'Halloran with a brace plus goals from Kevin Evans and Liam Prince doing the damage against a lone Rovers reply from Jack Matthews. Whilst for second place Wootton Blue Cross Reserves it was a retension of their seasons unbeaten ways with a 5-1 home victory over Atletico Europa. Jordan West with a hat-trick and Pat Daly with a brace bringing up the nap hand against a lone reply from Abuki Sulyman for the visitors. For third place Caldecote Reserves it was a 4-2 victory at Shefford Town & Campton Under 23's. Tony Norman with a brace plus Nick Thomas and Carl Heath on their scoresheet against Town replies via Kian Ledger and Scott Metcalfe. Whilst fourth place Sporting Carpathians won 6-1 at Sandy. Jordan Thomas with a hat-trick, Petru Ciochina with a brace and a single goal for Adrain Luncasu doing the damage against a lone home reply from Vladimirs Gaidukovs. Also enjoying life on the road were FC Polonia (Luton) who won 3-1 at FC Haynes Reserves to gain their first away points of the season. Rafal Zawislan, Mateusz Krupczak and Mateusz Dumisz on their scoresheet against a lone home reply from Jack Lannon. Division Four Still leading the way at the head of the Division Four standings are M&DH Clapham Sports who took their winning ways up to five games when winning 7-2 at Flitwick Town A. Jack Sheers and Fred Shannon both netting hat-tricks and Andy Sims once against Town replies via Dan Wells and Benn Ward. Whilst just goal difference behind in second place are Lea Sports PSG Reserves who made it four wins on the bounce to retain their seasons 100% home record with a 5-1 win over Shefford Town & Campton A. Milton Tomlinson Dennis with a hat-trick and Warren Bell with a brace seeing their goals only replied to once by Dave Holbrook for the Town. PSG taking over the second spot from Kempston Rovers on goal difference after the Rovers were awarded the three points when Catsbrook Wanderers failed to raise a side to host them , alas for the Rovers FA rules state the recorded scoreline should read 0-0. Whilst returning to winning ways after three straight defeats were Elstow Abbey Reserves with a 3-0 win at Square FC thanks to a brace from Brad Duffet and a goal from Steve Champion. Division Five Wootton Blue Cross Under23's remain on top of the Division Five standings despite being held to a 4-4 draw at third place Newham United. Alan Henman with a brace plus Haydn Rothchild-Wilson and Callum Myers on the Blue Cross scoresheet against United replies via Igor Zieba with a brace plus single goals from Sam Woodman and Joe Manley. In second spot are Luton Panthers who will now be subject to a Beds FA enquiry after their home gane with Sandy Reserves was abandoned in time added on with Sandy leading 2-1 via goals from Stewart Robertson and Jimmy Scott against a lone home reply from Liam Day. Still unbeaten this season and with games in hand on the top three are fourth place Clifton Reserves who won 8-1 at Tunisian Community. Jose Carles leading the way with a hat-trick, Christan Faruggia grabbing a brace plus single goals coming the way of Liam Chalkley, Khaled Phillips and Korbyn Giddings. Whilst also enjoying life on the road were Harlington Junior Reserves who won 3-2 at Revivalists. Martin Bull with a brace plus Eddie Prior marking their scoresheet against home replies via Eran Rifat and Adrain Wasewicz. Elsewhere, Sporting Carpathians Reserves remain unbeaten this season folowing their 6-2 home victory over M&DH Clapham Sports Reserves. Franklin Ojumobi with a hat-trick plus goals from Kudzai Sitambuli, Jake Brown and Ryan Sheridan only being replied to twice by Rasheed Okegan and Gasim Bigby for the visitors. |
