Potton United Reserves now top the Division One League Table |
Premier Division supported by Sportsform With the games Shefford Town & Campton Reserves v Biggleswade FC Reserves and Sharnbrook v Crawley Green Reserves waterlogged off the Premier Division supported by Sportsform action was down to just four games. AFC Oakley retaining their season's 100% home record to stay on top of the standings when goals from Shaun Barnett, Ali Smith and Robbie Alder took them to a 3-1 victory over Biggleswade United Under 23's for whom Frealia Mienambold netted. Whilst just a point behind them in second spot are Elstow Abbey who returned to winning ways on the road with a 4-2 win at Riseley Sports with goals from Scott Alleyne, Glenn Tumulity, Steve Gentle and Sheldon Washington. Sonny Newton Coots and Tristan Ringlet on the home scoresheet. With Stevington sitting the afternoon out third place now belongs to Caldecote the 3-2 home winners over Queens Park Crescents. All the goals coming in the opening half, Giuseppe Follano with a brace giving the home side a 2-0 lead before strikes from Matthew Taiwo and Garvin Watson made it 2-2 before Jake Bruce shot home what was to become the winning goal. For fifth place Cranfield United it was an extension of their unbeaten ways to four games by winning 6-0 at AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College. Division One We have new leaders of the Division One table in the shape of Potton United Reserves after they chalked up their fourth win on the bounce with a 3-2 home victory over Totternhoe Reserves. Craig Packham, Zubayr Rahman and Josh Cobb netting for United against visiting replies via Josh Wilson and Calum Burgess. Just a point behind them in second spot are the previous league leaders Stotfold Development after they were held to a 4-4 draw at Flitwick Town Reserves. Pete Rogan with a hat-trick and Ryan White on the Town scoresheet against replies for Stotfold by Billy Little, Nyasha Sagwete, James Hanman and Dominik Robertson. Snapping away at the heels of the top two are Barton Rovers Reserves who have games in hand on them both after they remained unbeaten on the road this season and took their unbeaten ways up to nine games with a 6-0 victory at Cranfield United Reserves. Aaron Fulton and Bradley Johnson both netting braces alongside single goals from James Renshaw and Kyran Webb. Whilst also retaining their season's unbeaten away ways were fourth place Sporting Lewsey Park in winning 3-2 at St Josephs (Saturday) with a brace of goals from Chris Gibson and a strike from Luke Lincoln against home replies via Tom McMahon and Tom Ryan. Elsewhere, Lea Sports PSG emerged the 8-4 victors at Wilstead. Milton Tomlinson Dennis leading the way with a hat-trick, Will Tyler hitting a brace and single goals coming the way of Sean Dixon, Dan Picton and Ryan Darby against home replies from Max Natola twice plus Colin Marshall and Sam Evans. Whilst for Henlow it was a gift of the three points when Pitstone & Ivinghoe Reserves failed to raise a side to visit them at Groveside. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro For Division Two supported by Hy-Pro league leaders Wootton Blue Cross it was a loss of their seasons unbeaten away ways and ten game unbeaten run when defeated for just the second time this season 3-2 at Bedford SA. Alex Hughes, Ollie Hughes and Aaron Baxter-Chaplin netting for the home side against Blue Cross replies via Ben Chrystic and Joe Holmes. All of which allowed second place Clifton to move within four points of them after they retained their season's 100% home record and unbeaten ways with a 5-3 victory over AFC Bedford United despite going in at half-time trailing United 1-3. James Bell twice plus goals from Charlie Hewitt, Liam Chalkley and Christian Faruggia bringing up the nap hand against United strikes from Raiqwan Joseph twice and Liam Fenton once. For AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves it was a first win of the season 2-1 at Harligton Juniors thanks to goals from Patrick Worth and Simao Faia against a lone reply from Jordan Knight for the home side. Whilst Brache Phoenix drew 1-1 at home against The 61FC Luton Reserves. Kurt Thomas on the home scoresheet and Connor Taylor netting for the visitors. Covid 19 issues seeing the games Renhold v FC Haynes and Stopsley United v Soccerlise postponed. Watson Shield Group Games Group A FC Haynes Reserves remain on top of the group standings after a lone goal from Jack Vincent took them to a 1-0 home victory over Shefford Town & Campton Under 23's. who now lose out on second spot to Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves who were 5-2 home winners over Newman United. Adam Kerr with a brace plus goals from Adrain Muigai, Ross Milton and Kevin Chirayil bringing up the nap hand against United replies via Dawid Oskowiak and Sam Woodman. Group B Sporting Carpathians Reserves now lead the way at the head of the Group B table following their 5-0 home victory over Caldecote Reserves. Jordan Thomas with a brace plus single goals from Perwz Mukisa, Ryan Sheridan and Majalin Anrel Cornneanu marking their scoresheet . Whilst Wootton Blue Cross were gifted the three points and remain in third spot after Tunisian Community failed to raise a side to journey to Weston Park. Group C Woodside Adult are now three wins out of three and three points clear at the head of the Group C table after winning 5-1 at Revivalists. Alex Pearse with a hat-trick plus goals from Ollie Mallord and Rory Burke doing the damage against a lone home reply from Connor Strong. Group D There is no change in the Group D standings despite group leaders Sandy losing 2-1 at Catsbrook Wanderers. Brett Smith and Nathan Clovis on the Wanderers scoresheet against a lone reply from Jack Fox. The Sharnbrook Reserves v CS Rovers game postponed due to Covid 19 issues at CS Rovers. Group E Likewise in Group E there is no changes to the standings after the lone game saw Elstow Abbey Reserves win 5-1 at home over Sandy Reserves. Marko Tobdzic with a hat-trick and Dan Jeffries with a brace doing the damage against a lone reply from James Scott. Group F Table toppers Shefford Town & Campton A made it three wins out of three with a 4-3 home victory over Harlington Juniors Reserves. Kyle Cook, Dean Gray, Taylor Walton and Sanna Makalo all finding the back of the net against Juniors replies via Joe Cullen, Martin Bull and Jordan Fender. Covid 19 issues at Lea Sports PSG Reserves caused the postponement of their home game with Luton Panthers. Group G FC Polonia (Luton) remain on top of the pile following their 3-1 away win at M&DH Clapham Sports Reeserves. Grzegorz Rudnicki, Rafal Zawisian and Marchin Ostrowski all finding the back of the net against a lone reply from Kieran Barrow. Whilst still in second spot are Kempston Rovers who were 6-0 home winners over Bedford Santos. Matthew Barrett netting four times and Omojiseoluwa Bankole twice. Group H Flitwick Town A also made it three wins out of three and on top of the Group H standings after winning 2-1 at Atletico Europa.
