Caldecote take over Premier Division supported by Sportsform top spot. |
Premier Division supported by Sportsform The leadership of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league table for the first time this season belongs to last season's champions Caldecote after they maintained their season's 100% home record with goals from Rafe Goodman and Sonny Newton Cootes in a 2-0 home victory over the start of play table toppers Cranfield United Reserves who now drop down the standings into third spot to also be overtaken by AFC Oakley following their 1-1 draw at previously 100% Marston Shelton Rovers. Harry Baker on the Rovers scoresheet with Joel Ives replying for the visitors. For fourth place Wootton Blue Cross it was a retention of their season's 100% away record when a brace of goals from Keaton Marsh took them to a 2-1 victory at Riseley Sports whose reply came via James Cooke. Whilst the biggest winners of the day and notching up their first victory of the season were Crawley Green Development who ran out 5-3 home winners over Biggleswade United Reserves with goals from Lucas Fisher, Kingsley Gibbons, Bill Lambley, Zepplin Macdonald and Stanley Efggleton against United replies via Jamie Essam, Syram Hammond and Enoch Oladamilola. Elsewhere, Queens Park Crescents opened their belated home season with a 2-1 success over Shefford Town & Campton Reserves. Faizan Fariao and Hassen Yousaf on their scoresheet against a Town reply from Ashley Heley. Whilst Totternhoe Reserves with goals from Shazan Idress and Jordan Knight won for the first time on the road 2-1 at the bottom of the table Flitwick Town whose came from Phillip Matthews. Division One There is no change at the head of the Division One standings following three points hauls by the top three clubs. League leaders Stopsley United remaining 100% for the season and a point clear at the summit after winning 3-1 at Ickwell & Old Warden. It was the home side who netted first via Glenn Tumulty who lobbed the United goalkeeper Rob Smith from just over the half-way line just 11 minutes into the game before Logan Burton levelled matters some 15 minutes later. United went 2-1 up in the 63th minute via Callum Frater before a successful free kick from the edge of the penalty area from Steve Wake made it 3-1 in the 70 minute. United then had to dig deep to retain their lead with just 10 men after Aissia Bakkas was shown a straight red card with 14 minutes left to play. For second place Sporting Carpathians it was victory number five on the bounce in winning 4-1 at AFC Oakley Development. Emmamuel Asare with a brace plus goals from Marcel Buruiana and Petrut Negut doing the damage against a lone home reply from Dom Whiteley.Whilst third place Harlington Juniors were given the three points when Bedford SA failed to raise a side to travel to meet them. In fourth spot are Buffs FC who with goals from Antony James and Paul Morris won 2-0 at Clifton and also enjoying life on the road to gain their first points of the season were Renhold United the 3-2 victors at Kempston United. Strikes from Nathan France, Alessando Guarino and Adelana Gbolaji doing the damage with Elijan Haynes and Fabien Cataldo making the home replies. Elsewhere, Wootton Blue Cross Reserves still await their first home win of the season after being held to a 2-2 draw by Bedford Albion. Henry Leadbeate-Hart and Jamie Gachura netted for the Blue Cross against Albion replies via Shane Cox and Angelo Moscaritolo. Division Two North Thurleigh remain on top of the Division Two North standings after claiming their fifth win on the bounce to stay 100% on home soil with a 7-0 victory over Clifton Development. Ed Shaw and Josh Marshall led the way with braces to go alongside single strikes from Matas Navikas, Brandon Shoesmith and Charlie Hurley. Whilst now in second place are FC Haynes who with an own goal and strikes from Ross Airson and Sam Lummis won 3-1 at Bedford Albion Development for whom Ben Worbey replied. Dropping down into third spot are Blunham who were held to a 1-1 draw at the still unbeaten and fourth place AFC Bedford United.Josh Staynor found the net for the visiting side with Gary Townsend doing likewise for the United. Whilst in fifth place are Green End Rovers who were held to a likewise 1-1 home draw by Caldecote Reserves..Callum Rust the home marksman against a Nick Thomas penalty in reply. Elsewhere, Shefford Town & Campton Development returned to winning ways with a 4-2 home win over M&DH Clapham Sports who were falling to their fifth defeat on the bounce. Jacob Jevon with a brace plus goals from Luca Phillps and Joe Ranson marking the home scoresheet against Sports replies from Flynn Bradley and Fred Shannon. Division Two South Lu Donz made it four wins on the bounce to stay two points clear at the head of the standings with a 4-3 home success over Harlington Juniors Reserves. Leroy White with a brace plus goals from Alfie Seville and Brandon Mcintosh doing the damage against Juniors replies from Ben Smith twice and Glenn Cooksley once. Whilst second place Luton Panthers ran out 5-2 home winners over Flitwick Town Reserves. Shakir Ghulanh Kouser led the way with a hat-trick alongside single goals from Qasim Digby and Ryan Spence to bring up the nap hand whilst the Town's goals came from Daniel Staniforth and Matt Mann. There was a first victory of the season for Stotfold Junior 4-1 at home over Caddington thanks to goals from Jakob Akusihe, Joseph Evans, Rob Irving and Robert Syrne against a lone reply from Kwane Richards. A feat that was also achieved on the road by both AFC Kempston Town Hammers and Bletchley Scot. The Hammers with goals from Gavin Cheema and Christopher Seaman won 2-0 at Caldecote A with the Scot emerging as the 3-2 winners at New Bradwell St Peter Development thanks to goals from Rowan Holland, Ben Swepston and Ryan Thirkell., with the home replies coming from Charlie Fisher and Adil Kitiri. Hertfordshire FA Junior Cup 2nd Round It was the end of the cup road for Lea Sports PSG who had just an Ethan McEvoy goal to show from their 2-1 defeat at Harpenden Colts. Division Three Kempston Athletic remain unbeaten this season and now three points clear at the head of the league table following their 3-0 home victory over Athletic FC. Lance Jeffers with a brace and a goal from Hayden Bartram ending the visitors 100% away record for the season. Whilst second place Sandy Reserves lost their season's unbeaten ways when beaten 0-2 at home by Elstow Reserves whose goals came from Craig Damon and Mikey Rosborough. For third place Dunstable Wanderers it was the gift of three points when Meltis Rangers failed to raise a side to host them at Miller Road. Whilst now in fourth spot are Lewsey Park who were 5-3 home winners over Queens Park Crescents Development. Patrick Daly led the way with a hat-trick and joined on their scoresheet by Jay sharpe and a Lee Mooney penalty to bring up the nap hand. The Crescents replies came via Hassan Nadeem, Joshua Tabiri and Volter Copelo. Winning for the third time on the road this season was FC Polonia (Luton ) 3-2 at Wilstead thanks to a brace from Mateusz Antoniuk to go alongside a strike from Fabien Pawlec. against home replies via Terry Griffiths and Colin Marshall. Whilst Flitwick Town A collected their first away point of the season from a 2-2 draw at The 61 FC Luton Reserves thanks to goals from Max Hughes and Ridwan Giwa. Jordan Fuller with a brace marking the home scoresheet. Division Four The leadership of the Division Four table is now in the hands of EB Lions AFC U21 following their 5-4 home victory over Stopsley United Reserves. Thomas Walsh with a brace plus goals from Sam Rolfe, Daniel Gillard and Theo Briggs bringing up the nap hand. against home braces in reply from Camron Nagle and Craig MCcann. Whilst just the goal difference behind in the second spot are Ampthill Town Colts who were gifted the three points when Wootton Blue Cross A failed to raise a side to entertain them. The biggest win of the day went the way of DTCC FC who were 10-1 home victors over Henlow Hurricanes to chalk up their fifth win on the bounce. Connor Talylor led the way with four goals, Chris Sorrentino grabbed a brace to go alongside single strikes from Luke Janes, Connor O'Neill, Ben Griffiths and George Adams-Rimmmer with the loan reply coming from Armaan Haria. For sixth place Turvey it was a 5-0 home success over the still pointless Everton Athletic Reserves.. Luca Hames with a brace plus goals from Jake King, William Westwood and James Vinnicombe bringing up the nap hand. Elsewhere, M&DH Clapham Sports Reserves and AFC Clophill after both losing their last two outings played out a 1-1 draw. Haydon Stringer replying for the visitors. |
