Spot Kick Beds FA Senior Cup joy for Biggleswade United Reserves |
Premier Division supported by Sportsform Cranfield United Reserves are now seven points clear at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league table after they retained their seasons unbeaten ways with a 3-0 home victory over Harlington Juniors with a brace of goals from Jack White and a strike from Will Bolton. Now up into second spot are Marston Shelton Rovers who with goals from Luke Clifford and Tom Beasley retained their season's 100% home record in beating Stopsley United 2-0. Dropping down into third spot are AFC Oakley after they were held to a 4-4 in local derby action at Riseley Sports. Alex Taylor, James Oakes, Daniel Bennett and Lewis Donald all found the net for the home side with Teddy Daniels with a hat-trick and Harry Gray replying for the visitors. . Whilst up into fourth place are Wootton Blue Cross who with two goals from Aidan Kavanagh and a strike from Fin Watt were 3-1 home winners over Totternhoe Reserves whose lone reply came via Samuel Adiko. Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy Round One The result of the round went to Biggleswade United Reserves who emerged the 5-4 penalty spot winners after a 3-3 draw at South Midlands League Totternhoe. Jack Hewitt, Fenton Williams and George Heaps on the mark inside the opening 90 minutes against home replies from Chris Gibson twice and Sam Hazel once. They will now face a second round home tie against Elstow Abbey who thanks to a hat-trick from Glen Tumulty were 3-0 home winners over Flitwick Town. For Caldecote it will be an away tie at Langford in the next round after they emerged the 3-1 home winners over Queens Park Crescents, Rafe Goodman with a brace plus a goal from Giuseppe Follano doing the damage. Whilst for the other half of Biggleswade it was a crashing 3-9 home defeat for the FC Reserves at the hands of South Midlands League Cranfield United. Who will now travel to either Wootton Blue Cross or Riseley Sports in round two. Rakeem Kamara with a hat-trick, braces from James Elkington-Soan and Joel Ives plus single goals from Andre Reece-Brown and Flynn Baker-Bond doing the damage doing the damage against FC replies via an own goal, Michael Allen and Rafael Sababo Miles. Elsewhere, picking up their first points of the season to move off the base of the league table was Bletchley Scot with a 1-0 away victory at AFC Oakley Development all thanks to a goal from Dean Reed. Division Two There is no change at the head of the Division Two league table following wins for the top three teams. League leaders AFC Kempston Town Hammers stayed two points clear at the summit after goals from Gio Moscarocolo and Alex Dominy-Lewis saw them retain their season's unbeaten ways with a 2-0 home success over Westoning Reds. Whilst second place Green End Rovers won 3-0 at Flitwick Town Reserves thanks to a brace from Max Natola and a single strike from Sean Jones. Trailing the Rovers on goal difference in third spot are Queens Park Crescents Reserves who were 4-1 home winners over Bedford SA. Haseeb Farlad with a brace plus goals from Ridvan Deniz and Yousef Karim only being replied to once by Oliver Raymond for the SA.In fourth spot are AFC Bedford United who took their winning ways up to three games with a 2-0 away success at Kempston Athletic thanks to goals from Tayron Charles and Lamar Smithson. Also enjoying life on the road to claim their first victory of the season and to move off the base of the league table were Stotfold Junior who with a hat-trick from Ross Irving and a goal from Lewis Cockrane won 4-0 at the previously unbeaten at home Wixams Wanderers. Whilst following five straight defeats St Josephs (Saturday) returned to winning ways with a 6-2 home victory over Caldecote Reserves. Connor Fennelly and Simon Richards with braces joined on the scoreshheet by single goals from Craig Packman and Jimmy O'Donnell. Division Three Ampthill Town Colts with goals from George Shaw, Luke Tyrell and Lennan Pilgrim won 3-2 at The 61 FC Luton Reserves whose replies came from Donte Lashley and Nathan Neale to remain a point clear at the head of the league table from Dunstable Wanderers who were the likewise 3-2 away winners at Everton Athletic to retain their season's 100% ways having played three games fewer than the Town Colts. Andrew Gibson, Louis Parker and Harry Saint on the Wanderers scoresheet against Athletic replies from Jake Messenger and Logan Smith. In third spot are Bedford Albion Development who required just a single goal from Carlo Bravoco to earn all three points from a 1-0 home victory over Atletic FC to stay a point ahead of Wilstead who were gifted the three points when now bottom of the table FC Polonia (Luton ) failed to raise a side to host them at Moore Crescent. Elsewhere, M&DH Clapham Sports lost for the first time this season in going down 2-3 at home to Flitwick Town A.. Adam Booth on the mark twice for the Sports.with the Town goals coming from Scott Gadsden, Jonathan Hill and Matt Mann. Whilst Stopsley United Reserves drew 3-3 at home against LU Donz Development.Joshua Cosgrove, Cameron Nagle and Omar Lee found the back of the net for the United with David Byass, Luke Tyrell plus an own goal marking the Donz scoresheet. Division Four Cranfield United Development remain four points clear at the head of the Division Four league table after they retained their season's 100% away ways in winning 5-1 at Westoning Blues. George Burden with a brace plus goals from Dylan Brawn, Jacob Griffiths and Jacob Hepton bringing up the nap hand against a lone home reply from Matthew Walsh. Whilst second place Luton Phoenix were 5-1 home winners over Catsbrook Wanderers. Moshin Mahmood with a hat-trick and single goals from Hamaad Raja and Konain Ali Shah serving up the nap hand against a lone Wanderers reply from Mikel Edubatey. Whilst returning to winning ways were AFC Kempston Town Hammers Reserves with a 3-2 home victory over a Everton Athletic Reserves side being beaten for the first time in five outings where Christianos Kyriacou, Kyle Lewis and Nikola Stanchev all found the back of the net for the Hammers and Michael John Freeman with a brace for the visitors. Bedforshire FA Junior Cup 1st Round Queens Park Crescents will now face a home second round tie against either M&DH Clapham Sports Reserves or Cranfield United Development after emerging the 4-3 penalty shoot-out winners at Turvay after 90 minutes play has seen the sides deadlocked at 1-1. Omar Tufall on the Crescents scoresheet in normal time and then he added another in the shoot-out alongside Norbert Broniewicz, Oliver Jun and Cieron Kalyan.
