Premier Division supported by Sportform title race remains wide open. |
Premier Division supported by Sportsform There is no change at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league standings following wins for the leading three title contenders. For league leaders Sharnbrook it was an extension of their unbeaten ways up to 12 games with a 4-2 victory at Biggleswade United U23's with goals from Harry Chinn, Josh Griggs, Tarik Dallas and James Barron against United replies via Charisma Agyemang and Alex Richardson. Whilst third place Biggleswade FC Reserves won 4-1 at Stevington to chalk up their fourth away win on the bounce. Kian Coles with a brace plus single goals from Cielan Boyle and Ewan Smailes doing the damage against a lone home reply from Marko Tobdzic . Yet in many people's eyes the title favourites are fourth place Crawley Green Reserves who took their unbeaten ways up to 19 games with a 3-1 victory at AFC Oakley. Timmy Akerele, Rob Newman and Rashaun Rattigan all finding the back of the net against a lone home reply from Stuart Gilles. For fifth place Cranfield United Reserves it was an end to their already slim title hopes when beaten 4-1 at Caldecote. Giuseppe Follano with a brace plus Evan Beldon and Jake Bruce on the home scoresheet against a lone United reply from Luke Little. Elsewhere, Riseley Sports did their hopes of beating the drop no harm at all by sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Flitwick Town. James Cooke netting the Sports goal against a Town reply from Reece Smith. Division One For the already crowned Division One champions Stotfold Development it was an end to their seasons unbeaten home ways when defeated 4-1 at home by Henlow who duly completed a seasons double over their local rivals. It was the home side via Kyle Watson who took the lead in the 11th minute but a brace of goals from George Scott in the 20th and 35th minutes saw Henlow lead 2-1 at half-time. Dan Wilson adding to the scoreline in the 57th minute and Luke Hills completing the scoring eight minutes later. Potton United Reserves making sure of the seasons silver medals and second spot with a 5-1 home win over Lea Sports PSG. Craig Packman, Serhan Dogruer, Liam Hayden, Zubayr Rahman and Chris Bacchus all scoring to bring up the nap hand against a lone PSG reply from Joe Hennem. Whilst Cranfield United Reserves were 3-0 home winners over St Josephs (Saturday) thanks to a brace from Ryan Phelps and a strike from Oliver Merritt. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro Clifton's lead at the head of the Division Two supported by Hy-Pro standings is now down to just a single point after they were held to a 0-0 draw at fourth place Renhold. Whilst second place Wootton Blue Cross won 6-0 at Soccerlise. Jack White with a brace plus single goals from Joe Holmes, Ben Holmes, Ertone Bolomo and Joe Bygraves doing the damage. For Harlington Juniors it was win number six on the bounce with a 6-3 home victory over The 61 FC Luton Reserves. Matt Coffey netting five times and James Mckinnon once against 61 replies via Leroy White, Courtney Small and Mansour Abeldix. Whilst FC Haynes with goals from Dean Hill, Sam Kelly and Ben Lee Phillips were the 3-2 home winners over Bedford SA for whom Ollie Hughes netted a brace. Division Four Lea Sports PSG Reserves are now within two points of claiming the Division Four league title after they retained their seasons 100% home record and chalked up win number eight on the bounce with a 7-0 home victory over Square FC. Ryan Bean netting twice alongside single goals from Louie Grant, George Calvert, James Gill, James Wildey and Alex Bailey. Division Five. The lone game of the day taking promotion seeking Clifton Reserves to a 2-1 away win at Sandy Reserves. Korbyn Giddings and Cameron Godfrey on their scoresheet against a lone home reply from Michael Turner. Watson Shield Quarter-Finals For FC Polonia (Luton) with goals from Rafal Zawislan and Pawel Seliga it was a 2-0 home victory over FC Haynes Reserves to earn them a home Semi-final tie against Shefford Town & Campton A who were the 4-2 home winners over Woodside Adult. Josh Lummis, Sanna Makalo, Taylor Walton and Joe Lewis all finding the back of the net against visitors replies via Ed Howlett and Dan Henry-Welsh.
