Marston Shelton Rovers now top the Premier Division supported by Sportsform standings. |
Premier Division supported by Sportsform The leadership of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league table is now in the hands of Marston Shelton Rovers who remain unbeaten on the road this season and in their last nine outings after winning 3-1 at Riseley Sports via a brace of goals from Luke Clifford and a strike from Justice Gittens. The Rovers moved three points clear of Wootton Blue Cross who lost their season's 100% away record when beaten 2-0 at third place AFC Oakley. The home goals coming via Joel Ives and Omojiseoluwa Bankole. All the other four games were to go the way of the visitors with Totternhoe Reserves winning on the road for the first time in six outings with a 5-2 victory at Crawley Green Development. Sam Hazel with a hat-trick and goals from Tyler Roe and Ben Andrews bringing up the nap hand against home replies via Ciaran Maher and Kyle Dilley Smith. Whilst Elstow Abbey returned to winning ways on the road with a 4-1 victory at Shefford Town & Campton Reserves.Glenn Tumulty with a brace plus goals from Marko Tobdzic and Craig Damon doing the damage with Luca Phillips replying for the Town. Now unbeaten in their last five away outings are Queens Park Crescents who required just a goal from Hassen Yousaf to win 1-0 at Flitwick Town, whilst defending champions Caldecote won for the first time in seven league outings 3-0 at Biggleswade FC Reserves thanks to goals from Louie Clarke, Chris Faulkner and Tobi Omotosho. Division One Just two games to report upon, For Buffs FC in was a first victory in four outings with a 4-1 home success over Bedford Albion where Luke Hennessey grabbed all four goals against a lone Albion reply from Nathan France. Whilst second from bottom of the table Wootton Blue Cross Reserves scraped to a 5-4 home victory over bottom club Bedford SA. Josh Aranielle with a hat-trick and goals from Haydon Rothchild and Hentry Ledbetter-Hart bringing up the nap hand against SA Replies via Oskar Szarycz twice plus single goals from Nial Quigley and Jerome Smith. Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Cup Quarter-Finals Stopsley United will now host AFC Oakley Development or LU Donz in the last four after a goal from Connor Waite took them to a 1-0 victory at Kempston United. In the other half of the draw it was a 7-0 away victory for Harlington Juniors at Clifon, James Sheridan and Freddie Knight with braces being joined on the scoresheet by Ben Thorton, Ben Whalley and Tyler Ingham to earn them a home encounter with Ickwell & Old Warden who with a goal from Jack Parratt were 1-0 home winners over Harlington Juniors Reserves. Division Two North For league leaders Thurleigh it was the gift of three points when Bedford Albion Development failed to raise a side to host them at Woodlands Park and keep them five points ahead of now second place Caldecote Reserves who have played one game fewer after they chalked up win number nine on the bounce 2-1 at home over Wixams Wanderers. Reece Glasgow and James Tubridy on the home scoresheet with Sam Maelzer hitting the visitors reply. Dropping down into third spot are Blunham whose scheduled encounter with M&DH Clapham Sports was postponed after both clubs pitches were ruled unplayable. Whilst now up into fourth place are FC Haynes who ran out 4-1 home winners over Green End Rovers. Daniel Parker with a brace and goals from Sam Kelly and Tyler Winter doing the damage against a lone reply from Max Natola. The three points lifting them above AFC Bedford United who nevertheless remain unbeaten on the road this season after returning from Shefford Town & Campton Development with a share of the points from a 1-1 draw. Mkhokozisi Tabeloncube on the mark for the Town and Gary Townsend doing likewise for United. Division Two South With second place New Bradwell St Peter Development sitting the afternoon out, taking full advantage to move five points clear at the head of the league standings were LU Donz who remain unbeaten on home soil this season following their 5-1 home success over AFC Kempston Town Hammers. Cameron Saunders and Troy Walker with braces plus a strike from Leroy White bringing up the nap hand.against a lone Hammers reply from Giovanni Moscaritolo. Also still unbeaten on home soil this season are third place Lea Sports PSG who with a brace of goals from Matt Morton beat Bletchley Scot 2-0. For now fourth place Caddington it was the biggest victory of the day 10-1 at now bottom of the table Brache Phoenix their first success on the road for seven outings. Ryan Smith, Kwane Richards and Adam England all with braces to go alongside two own goals plus strikes from Mark Reilly and George Burden doing the damage against a lone home reply via Yassen Khan. This big victory lifting them goal difference ahead of Luton Panthers who were the 3-1 home winners over Stotfold Juniort thanks to goals fWith rom Shakir Ghalam Kouser, Curtis Long and Andrew Francois against a lone reply from Joseph Evans. Lifting themselves off of the bottom of the table were Caldecote A who ended a run of five straight defeats by sharing the points from a 2-2 draw at Flitwick Town Reserves.. Thomas Giggle and Thomas Barnett on the mark for the Town against replies via Ollie Plews and Isaac Warwick for the visitors. Division Three With morning second place Sandy Reserves having their home encounter against The 61 FC Luton Reserves postponed due to the state of their Bedford Road pitch, now in second spot are Lewsey Park who made it four home wins on the trot in beating Flitwick Town A 5-3. Joshua Ogden with a brace plus goals from Jonathan Barnett, Kyle Lee Lincoln and Wayne O'Connor bringing up the nap hand whilst the Town replies came from Gareth Fossey, Liam Hyland-Knight and Matt Mann. Missing the chance to also climb above the boys from Bedford Road were Atletic FC who were held to a 2-2 draw at FC Polonia (Luton) Fabien Pawelec and Adam Wojityna on the home scoresheet against replies from Mo Banda and Aaron Van-Horn. Whilst Wilstead were the 4-0 home winners over Dunstable Wanderers. thanks to goals from Michael Taylor, Nat Gentle-King, Colin Marshall and Jude Thompson. Watson Shield Second Round With two goals from Simon Wade and a strike from Tesfa Bernard, Meltis Rangers emerged the 3-0 winners at Elstow Abbey Reserves. Whilst Bedfordshire Saturday Youth side Cranfield Colts U18 Cobras won 5-0 at Everton Athletic. Bedfordshire FA Junior Cup Quarter-Finals For Kempston Athletic it will be a home last four tie against Queens Park Crescents Development after they won 6-2 at Stopsley United Reserves where Nikola Markovic hit a hat-trick, Alexander Wasilewski weighed in with a brace and Kieran Carrington added a single strike against United replies from Alfie Alexander and Cameron Nagle. The Crescents themselves were the 4-2 home winners over Turvey. Goals from Volter Copelo, Ayaz Hussain and Hasen Nadeem plus and own goal outweighing Jake King being on the mark twice for the visitors. In the other half of the draw Ampthill Town Colts with goals from Reece Bowling, Cathal Kitson, Lennan Pilgrim, George Shaw and Luke Tyrell ran out 5-2 home winners over Woburn & Wavendon to earn a home encounter with Cambs League Sandy FC who with goals from Jordan Cobb, Sam Heatley, Andy Williams, Callum Walter and Kai Smith won 5-1 at DTCC FC whose lone reply came from Ethan Kennedy. Division Four For third place Wootton Blue Cross A it was home win number four on the bounce with a 6-2 home victory over Everton Athletic Reserves. Alfie Young led the way with a hat-trick, Ben Hall adding a brace to go alongside a single goal from Cody Copperwheat. Whilst AFC Clophill were gifted the three points to take them up to eighth spot after Henlow Hurricanes failed to raise a side to journey to meet them. |
