Elstow Abbey climb to the top of the tree on a day Pitstone & Ivinghoe United Reserves fell The Pin |
Premier Division supported by Sportsform We now have new leaders at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league table in the shape of Elstow Abbey after they retained their seasons unbeaten ways with a 4-1 home victory over morning league leaders AFC Oakley who now sit a point adrift of them in second place having lost not only their top of the table poistion but also their seasons 100% record. Scott Joseph being the toast of the Abbey netting a hat-trick to go alongside a single goal from Steve Gentle against a lone reply from Chisom Amadi for the visitors. Enzo Carrillo with a brace plus single goals from Henry Mungwira and Max Risby doing the damage against a lone Town reply via Rob Tapley. Whilst now in fifth place are Queens Park Crescents who following two straight defeats returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory at Wilstead. Fraelias Mienanbold netting twice and Mohammed Raheem Jabber once against home replies via JM Steele and Paul Jones. The biggest win of the day went the way of AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College who claimed their first victory of the season with a 6-0 home win over Biggleswade United U23. Anas Bechkoum leading the way with a hat-trick, Tim Clarke netting twice and Jamie Risebrow once. Whilst also enjoying their first win of the season were Riseley Sports 3-2 at home against Bedford Albion. Jay Willett, Lewis Donald and James Cook marking their scoresheet against a brace in reply from Albion's Marcus Rumble. Also enjoying life on home soil and returning to winning ways were Crawley Green Reserves who were 4-1 victors over Caldecote. Rob Newman with a brace joined on the Green scoresheet by Terry Billy and Lui Sarrington against a lone reply via Dan Imrie for the visitors. Covid 19 issues bringing a postponement to the Marston Shelton Rovers v Shefford Town & Campton Reserves fixture and a waterlogged pitch to the Stevington v Biggleswade FC Reserves game. Division One A We also have new league leaders at the head of the Division One A standings in the shape of Lea Sports PSG after they took their winning ways up to four games in winning 7-0 at AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves. Joe Hennem with a brace joined on the scoresheet by an own goal plus single strikes from James Haughney, Ashley Thompson Boyle, Milton Tomlinson Dennis and Josh England. Losing out on the top spot and now sitting only fourth are St Joseph (Saturday) who lost their seasons 100% record when beaten 5-4 at home by Stotfold Development. Kade Bagge with a brace plus single goals from Darren Mitchell, Ethan Parker and Ben Southby bringing up the visitors nap hand against home replies via Kenan Doqruer, Shane O;Donnell, Dean Whittaker and Kieran Doherty. Now sitting in second spot are Kempston Athletic who retained their seasons unbeaten ways with a 5-1 victory at Eaton Park Rangers. Craig Damon netting three times and Tom Hughes twice against a lone Rangers reply from Ryan Vale . Whilst in third spot are Arlesey Town U23 who shared the points from a 1-1 home draw with Houghton Athletic to retain their seasons unbeaten ways. Kyle Williams netting for the Town and Miles Best for the Athletic. Elsewhere, following two straight defeats Langford Reserves returned to winning ways with a 4-0 home win over Ickwell & Old Warden. Robbie Wilcock with a brace joined on their scoresheet by goals from Josh Cranwell and Rowan Hedley. Whilst a waterlogged pitch saw the postponement of the Totternoe Reserves v Wilstead Reserves fixture. Division One B With morning league leaders Flitwick Town Reserves having their game waterlogged off at Stopsley United the leadership of the Division One B table is now in the hands of Henlow who retained their seasons 100% away record with a 4-0 victory at Sporting Lewsey Park. Cameron Care, Luke Hills, Dan Wilson and Charlie Willison all finding the back of the net. Whilst just goal difference behind them in second place are Sharnbrook who remain unbeaten this season after winning 3-0 at Bedford SA who were duly being beaten for the first time this season. Alex Horn netting twice and James Wilkinson once to do the damage. However, perhaps the result of the day belonged to Pitstone & Ivinghoe United Reseves who claimed their first points of the season by winning 5-0 at Pines (Luton) who had gone into the fixture 100% for the season. James Setchell netting twice alongside single goals from Sam Budgen, Oliver Hubbard and Luke Williams to bring up the nap hand. The lone home win of the day taking AFC Oakley Reserves to a 5-4 victory over Ampthill Town Development. Shaun Barnett leading the way with a hat-trick and joined on the home scoresheet by goals from Gianluca Testa and James Worker. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro Sundon Park Rangers are now six points clear at the head of the Division Two supported by Hy-Pro standings after retaining their seasons 100% ways with a 4-1 home victory over Caldecote Reserves. Yveslin Eugene netting all four goals against a lone reply from Carl Heath for the visitors who are still awaiting their first victory of the season has they sit on the bottom of the league standings. The biggest win of the day going to Clifton who were the 7-4 home victors over Bedford Albion Reserves who still await their first point/s on the road this season. Liam Phillips leading the way with four goals, George Denman netting twice and Jim Taylor once against Albion replies via Kegan Roberts, Charlie Corcoran, Gavin Cheema and Ben Marwood. Elsewhere picking up their first win of the season were Athletico Europa with a 5-2 home success over CS Rovers. Mo Branda with a hat-trick alongside single goals from Jordan McGoldrick and Abuki Sulyman bringing up the nap hand against Rovers replies via Charlie Thomas and Joseph Lydon. Waterlogged pitches bringing about the postponement of the fixtures Harlington Juniors v Crawley Green U23 and Wootton Blue Cross v Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves. Division Three supported by Hy-Pro We now also have new league leaders at the head of the Division Three supported by Hy-Pro league standings in the shape of St Jonns (Luton) following their 5-2 home win over Square FC. Pearce Tracey with a brace plus single goals from Nicholas Palmer, Mohammed Elbayan and Jermaine Griffiths marking the home scoresheet against replies via Jordan Knight and Nathan Berry for the visitors. Losing out on top spot and now down into third place are AFC Bedford United who lost their seasons 100% record when beaten 4-3 at home by Brickhill Wanderers who were claiming their first away points of the season. Now in second spot are Shefford Town & Campton A who made it three wins on the bounce with a 9-1 home victory over bottom of the table Sundon Park Rangers Development. Jacob Jevan leading the way with a hat-trick alongside single goals from Daniel Sheehan, Ricky Lawrence, Kyle Cook, Sanna Makalo and Dave Holbrook. Whilst just goal difffence behind them in fourth place are FC Polonia (Luton) who were 5-0 home winners over Sandy thanks to two goals from Andrew Martin and single strikes from Marcin Bator, David Oskowiak and Mateusz Antoniua. For Luton Leagrave AFC it was their first away points of the season when a lone goal from Lewis Bloomfield took them to a 1-0 victory at Lea Sports PSG Reserves. Whilst a waterlogged pitch put paid to any action being possible between Real Haynes Reserves and Luton Allstars. Division Four Sporting Carpathians still lead the way at the head of the Division Four standings despite losing their seasons 100% ways when held to a 3-3 home draw by Elstow Abbey Reserves. Marcel Buruiana with a brace and a single strike from Jordan Thomas marking the home scoresheet against a Abbey hat-trick from Zach Weeks in reply. Now just a point behind them in second spot are Blunham who made it three wins on the bounce with a 2-0 win at Catsbrook Wanderers, a Matthew McCartney goal plus a Lee Arnold penalty doing the damage. However, just goal difference behind them in third spot having played a game less are the still 100% for the season Sharnbrook Reserves who ran out 3-1 home winners over Shefford Town & Campton B. Finton McCann netting twice and Regan Scott once against a lone Town reply from Jay Duguid. Whilst the biggest scorers of the day were Bedford Albion A who collected their first points of the season when winning 5-2 at Sandy Reserves. Ben Wright netting twice to go alongside single goals for Sunny Atwal, Dan Litchfield and Harry Spillane against a home brace in reply from Stewart Robinson. Elsewhere, M&DH Clapham Sports were also claiming their first win of the season 3-1 at Revivalists thanks to a brace of goals from Andy Sims and a single strike from Owen Tuffin against a lone home reply from Jason Singh.
