Premier Division supported by Sportsform Marston Shelton Rovers lead at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league table is now up to five points after they took their unbeaten ways up to 10 games and retained their season's unbeaten away ways with a 2-1 victory at Shefford Town & Campton Reserves with goals from Charlie Cullen and Samuel Smith against a lone reply from Ashley Healey. Whilst second place Wootton Blue Cross was being held to a 1-1 draw at Biggleswade United Reserves. Seyram Hammond on the home scoresheet against a Blue Cross reply from Noah Marsh. The result of the day saw Cranfield United Reserves win 4-0 at Elstow Abbey who were suffering their third home defeat on the bounce. Sean Byrne with a brace plus goals from Joe Bescoby and James Manning failing to bring about a reply. The lone home victory of the afternoon belonged to Riseley Sports in beating bottom of the table Flitwick Town 4-1. Alex Taylor with a brace plus goals from Matthew Smith and Mitchell Crook doing the damage against a lone Town reply from Phil Matthews. Elsewhere, it was a 3-3 draw between hosts Queens Park Crescents and the visiting Totternhoe Reserves. Mohammed Ali Shehzad, Ismail Rakhman and Vinny Crook netted for the home side against Totts replies from Sam Hazell, Jordan Knight and Jazhai Randino. Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy Semi-Final Saw Caldecote run out the 2-0 home winners over AFC Oakley with goals from Joshua Roberts and Daniel Webb. They will now face a final tie against Stotfold Reserves who 72 hours later under the floodlights at Roker Park before a crowd of 289 were likewise 2-0 home winners over Queens Park Crescents, both goals coming in the opening half from Robert Wilcock, the first from the penalty spot in the 15th minute and the second nine minutes before the break. Division One With Stopsley United sitting the afternoon out, Harlington Juniors took full advantage to climb back onto the top of the league table with a 4-2 victory at Wootton Blue Cross Reserves saw them take their unbeaten ways up to 11 games. Freddie Knight with a brace plus goals from Oscar Garner and Alex Frantellizzi marking their scoresheet against Blue Cross replies from Charlie Dunne and Keelan Coleman. Now in third place are Kempston United thanks to a 3-0 success at AFC Oakley Development. Elijah Joseph with a brace plus Ashton Joyce marking their scoresheet. These points taking the United above Bedford Albion who were beaten 2-1 at current fifth place Clifton. Sam Oakins and Nikolay Rusev the home goalscorers against a lone Albion reply fromPaul Babbington. Whilst Buffs FC now make up the top six after a hat-trick from Luke Hennessy and a goal from Rohan Edlin saw them win 4-1 at the bottom of the table Bedford SA for whom Jerome Smith replied. Division Two North There is no change at the head of the Division Two North league standings following wins for the top two clubs, league leaders Thurleigh remaining six points clear with win number eight on the bounce on the road in defeating Green End Rovers 5-1. Charlie Hurley with a hat-trick and goals from Tom Burnage and Cormac Mccann bringing up the nap hand against a lone reply from Rovers Zach Baker. Whilst second place Blunham were the 4-0 home winners over Shefford Town & Campton Development. Connor Heaps with a brace plus an own goal via Tom Winch and a strike from Ricky Lawrence doing the damage. Now in third place are FC Haynes who with braces of goals from James Roach and Tyler Winter were 4-1 home winners over the bottom of the table M&DH Clapham Sports whose reply came from Andy Sims. Losing out on that third spot were Caldecote Reserves who saw their nine games winning run ended when beaten 2-1 at home by fifth place AFC Bedford United who now only trail them on goal diffference and having played one game fewer. Gary Townsend netted both of the United's goals against a lone home reply via James Bright. Elsewhere having failed to win any of their last 11 outings Bedford Albion Development returned to winning ways with a 4-2 success at Wixams Wanderers thanks to goals from James Wookey, Pasquale Grasso, Luca Jorge and Panashe Manyau against Wanderers replies via Adam Jackson and Sam Maelzer. Division Two South For league leaders Lu Donz it was an end to their four games winning run when beaten 3-2 at Caddington who remain 100% on home soil this season .Ryan Smith with a brace plus Louis Octave marking their scoresheet against Donz replies via Ardul Rasul and Leroy White. The Donz however still remain five points clear at the head of the standings after second place New Bradwell St Peters Development who have paid one game fewer had their game at home to third place Lea Sports PSG postponed. The biggest winners of the day were Bletchley Scot who won for the first time at home this season in beating bottom of the table Brache Phoenix 5-0. Musa Kareem with a brace plus goals from Dale Froud, Dean Reed and Connor Vincent bringing up the nap hand.Whilst the lone away victory of the day saw AFC Kempston Town Hammers win 2-1 at Stotfold Junior thanks to an own goal plus a strike from Caelan Cox with Thomas Wragg making the lone home reply. The Flitwick Town Reserves v Harlington Juniors Reserves being postponed due to an unfit pitch. Division Three There is no change at the head of the Division Three league table following wins for the top two clubs. League leaders Kempston Athletic remaining seven points clear in chalking up win number seven on the spin to retain their season's unbeaten ways with a 4-0 home success over third place Sandy Reserves. Alexander Wasilewski with a brace plus strikes from Royheed Banghard and Kristian Marciano doing the damage. Whilst second place Lewsey Park took their winning ways up to five games with a 2-1 success at Flitwick Town A thanks to goals from Luke Lincoln and Niall Lawson with Matt Moon replying for the Town. At the other end of the standings bottom club Everton Athletic are still in search of their first home success of the season after losing 6-0 to Wilstead whose goals came via Jude Thomson, Jamie Nash, Adam Chambers, Tyler Devenport, Paul Jackson and Colin Marshall. Whilst second from bottom club Meltis Rangers saw goals from Tesfa Bernard, Simon Wade and Tyrell O'Connor earn them a share of the spoils from a 3-3 draw at Queens Park Crescents Development. The home replies came from Ayaz Hussain with a brace plus Hasan Nadeem. The 61FC Luton Reserves v Atletic FC game was postponed due to an unfit pitch. Division Four EB Lions U21 are now up into fourth place and on a four game winning home run after defeating Everton Athletic Reserves 4-3. Daniel Gillard with a brace plus goals from Jay Atkinson and Sam Rolfe marking their scoresheet against Athletic replies via Owen Hurst twice and James Scot once. Whilst for third place Wootton Blue Cross A it was a 3-1 away victory at Henlow Hurricanes. Alfie Young with a brace plus Zyon Mureithi Njuguna found the back of the net against a lone reply via Jake Holness. Watson Shield Second Round Ampthill Town Colts eased their way into the last eight with a thumping 9-0 home victory over Catsbrook Wanderers. George Shaw led the way with a hat-trick, Jay Hartup weighed in with a brace to go alongside single goals from Cathal Kitson, Reece Bowling, Albie Larman and William Lee-Phillps. Whilst FC Polonia (Luton ) were the 5-0 home winners over Dunstable Wanderers. Sylwester Kraks and Mateusz Antoniuk with braces plus a single goal from Fabien Pawelec bringing up the nap hand. Elsewhere, Stopsley United Reserves required a 4-2 penalty shoot-out success to overcome the visiting AFC Clophill after 90 minutes play had seen the sides deadlocked at 2-2. Tyla McCabe and Kevin Proszkowiec on the United scoresheet with George Davis and Tir Edwards replying for the visitors. |
