Shefford Town & Campton Reserves the early season league leaders |
Premier Division supported by Sportsform Shefford Town & Campton Reserves sit two points clear at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform standings and the only 100% team after running out 6-1 home winners over Biggleswade United Reserves. Liam Wood netting four times alongside single goals from Harry Lovely and Dos Santos Jesus against a lone United reply from Zac Adnan. Sitting in second spot and still unbeaten are Flitwick Town who with two goals from Dan Stafford won 2-1 at Crawley Green Reserves for whom Timmy Akerele replied. Just goal difference behind the Town in third spot are the likewise unbeaten Elstow Abbey following their 2-1 victory at Marston Shelton Rovers. The Abbey with a brace of goals from Scott Alleyne in the opening 10 minutes being pegged back just before the break when Harry Baker netted for the Rovers. However, the biggest scorers of the day were last seasons champions Biggleswade FC Reserves who romped to a 8-2 home win over AFC Kempston Town Hammers to take up fourth place. Joe Worboys, Alfie Gardner and Oscar Smith all netting twice alongside single goals via Cieran Boyle and Matt Reynolds. The Hammers replies coming from Darius Fletcher and Dimagio Robinsion. In fifth place just goal difference behind the FC are Caldecote who won 3-1 at Stotfold Development thanks to goals from Rafe Goodman, Jake Bruce and Joe Follano against a lone Billy Little reply for the home side. The top six being made up by Sharnbrook who required a late goal from Martin Danobrega to earn a share of the spoils from a 1-1 draw at Cranfield United for whom Luciano Cogo had shot ahead earlier. Also drawing 1-1 were AFC Oakley at home with Queens Park Crescents. Joe McDonagh on the home scoresheet and Mohammed Abbass netting for the Crescents. Division One Cranfield United Reserves are the early leaders of the Division One standings making it two wins from two with a 4-1 victory at Kempston Rovers Academy u23 thanks to goals from Alex Maxwell, Sam Manning, Martin Holland and Edas Razanauskas against a lone home reply from Mykola Felenko. Also two from two are second place Henlow the 2-0 home winners over Renhold . Aldous Taylor hitting both goals late in the second half. Milton Keynes Dons Set U19 Set Development marked their first ever BCFL game with a loud bang with a 10-1 home win over St Josephs ( Saturday) Kingsley Bate leading the way with three goals alongside single strikes from Cameron O'Neil, Davy Catlin, Saed Saed, Kaya Hansson, Desian Mehmetaj, Charlie Goldsmith and Luca Todd. The lone St Joe's reply coming via Regan McNulty. Also winning big were Wootton Blue Cross who opened their season with a 5-0 home victory over AFC Oakley Reserves. Reece Mills with a brace and single goals from Jake Marshall, Joe Bygraves and Joe Holmes bringing up the nap hand. Also going nap were Clifton with a 5-2 victory at Bedford Town FC U23. Jensen Martin with a brace plus strikes from Alex Duncan, Joshua Adams and Samuel Kelly doing the damage against a brace in reply from Town's Harvey Eagles. For Buffs FC it was a 4-3 home victory over Bedfiord Albion. Antony James netting twice alongside single goals from Andrew Truett and Jamie Thompson against Albion replies via Jay Hall twice and Liam Fenton once. Away from league action Lea Sports PSG made their Herts FA Junior Cup exit when beaten 4-3 at Harpenden Town Development despite two goals from Milton Tomlinson Dennis and a single strike from Josh Straker. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro Wootton Blue Cross Reserves head the early Division Two supported by Hy-Pro standings following their 5-1 victory at AFC Bedford United. Keaton Marsh and Zack Baker with braces and a single goal from Jamie Lawrence bringing up the nap had against a lone United reply via Jesse Van Agen. Sporting Carpathians are in second spot with a likewise two from two 100% record following their 3-2 home win over Cadecote Reserves. Michael Brako netting all three goals against a brace in reply from Nick Thomas for the visitors. Also 100% after their two games are third spot Shefford Town & Campton Development the 2-1 home winners over Wilstead. Ross Cook and Chad Walker netting the goals to do the damage against a lone reply from Joe Sullivan. The biggest winners of the day were Westoning Recreation with a 9-1 victory at AFC Kempston Town Hammers Reserves. George Nicholls, Freddie Knight and George Peddar all netting twice alongside single strikes from James Sheridan, Charlie Scott and George McGonagle. The lone Hammers reply coming via George Lea. Also winning on the road were Bedford SA 4-2 at FC Haynes with a brace from Ollie Hughes and single goals from Ollie Raymond and Andrew Latimer against home replies via Dan Parker and Dean Hill. Elsewhere, a lone goal from Gareth Fossey took Flitwick Town Reserves to a 1-0 home win over The 61 FC Luton Reserves. Whilst Harlington Juniors were 5-1 home winners over Brache Phoenix. Ben Whalley with a brace and single goals from Chris Tillott, Nathan Boyle and Luke Jeffery bringing up the nap hand against a lone reply via Ashley Barbour for the Phoenix. Division Three supported by Hy-Pro Caddington head the Division Three supported by Hy-Pro standings after two games following their 6-0 home victory over Square FC. Mark Brown with a brace plus single goals from Alex Besgrove, George Burden, Troy Birch and Kwane Richards doing the damage. Just goal difference behind are FC Polonia (Luton) who with a goal from Fabian Pawelee were 1-0 home winners over Atletico Europa. The biggest away winners were Stotfold Junior who won 5-2 at Elstoiw Abbey Reserves. Ross Irving leading the way with a hat-trick alongside single goals from Joe Cleverly and Tom Wragg against a Abbey brace from James Copley. FC Haynes Reserves also scored five times on the road but had to settle for a share of the spoils in a 5-5 draw at Newman United. Igor Zieba with a hat-trick and single goals from Stephen Robertson and Darragh Dunbar marking the United scoresheet. The visitors goals coming via a Jon Smith hat-trick plus single strikes from Max Lennon and Alex De Carvalho. Ickwell & Old Warden made their return to the BCFL with a 1-0 home victory over Sporting Carpathians Reserves, the winning goal coming from Andrew Vallom with a 89th minute penalty. There was also a late goal at Bedford Road where Harry Rankin netted a 90th minute goal to earn Lea Sports PSG Reserves a 1-1 draw against hosts Sandy for whom Jack Fox netted. Elsewhere, goals from Emmanuel Kontoh and Benjamin Wazabanga took Kempston Rovers BCFL to a 2-0 victory at Sharnbrook Reserves. Division Four Luton Panthers head the early Division Four standings after winning 4-0 at Caldecote U23. with two goals from Luciano Witter and single strikes from Shakir Kouser and Trey Brand. Also 100% after the opening two games are second place Clifton Reserves who with goals from Tony Norman, Christian Farrugia and Lewis Osborne won 3-0 at Bedford Wanderers. The 100% tag also belongs to third place Meltis Rangers who netted a 3-0 home win over Revivalists thanks to goals from Taran Chana, Hayden Betts And Leandro Cordosa. Whilst in fourth place are Leighton Woodside the 3-1 away winners at Catsbrook Wanderers. Fin Bracken, Thomas Bassett and Alex Pearse on their scoresheet against a lone home reply from Louis Smith. Also enjoying life on the road were Sandy Reserves the 3-1 winners at Kempston Athletic with goals from Aaron Seldon, Richard Seldon and Michael Freeman against a lone home reply from Josh Humphries. The biggest home win of the day saw Flitwick Town A beat M&DH Clapham Sports Reserves 4-0 will all four goals coming from Max Hughes. Whilst Blunham claimed a 3-2 home win over Harlington Junior Reserves. Joe Mcgilley, William Sells and Connor Heaps marking the home scoresheet against Junior replies via a Martin Bull penalty and James Lovett. |
