| Ollie Collects Top Award At Champions Celebration Evening |
After Eighty-Five years of trying season 2007-08 saw Campton duly collect their first ever Bedfordshire Football League top flight league title and to mark the occasion a presentation evening was held at Beadlow Manor where The League's Press and Media Secretary Peter Francis was on hand to present their first team squad with their medals to go alongside the Championship Trophy which had already been handed over to them by League President Terry Sadler on April 26th following their 5-1 win at Ickwell & Old Warden on the afternoon they clinched the title.
But the star of the evening was to turn out to be Reserve Team Manager Ollie Morgan who was voted Campton's Clubman Of The Year, Ollie plus collected both The Reserve Team's Leading Goalscorer award plus The Reserve Team's Player's Player gong whilst the other award winners were, First Team Leading Goalscorer, Gary Gibson, First Team Managers Player Of The Season, Paul Still , First Team Player's Player Of The Season, Andrew Hayday and Reserve Team Managers Player Of The Year, Paul Gravell.

| Sweet Revenge For Meltis Corinthians As They Lift The Britannia Cup |
Wednesday Evening's Britannia Cup Final played before a crowd of 225 at Biggleswade United's Second Meadow Ground saw Meltis Corinthians gain sweet revenge for their two league defeats at the hands of Blunham during the season by claiming a 2-1 victory, The Sweetboys were always in control of the games earlier exchanges and after Dean Warren and Moby Hussain had spurned early opportunities to shoot them ahead Justin Patterson did just that after twenty-two minutes when latching onto a ball delivered to his feet by Carlton Dickson, Blunham were back in the game right on the stroke of half-time when Mark Davidson fired home from a pinpointed cross from Lee Marshall but the winner arrived ten minutes into the second period when Patterson was able to rifle home his second of the night after Warren pace had blitzed the Blunham defence wide open. Warren then missed two good chances to put the game beyond recall and save The Sweetboys a nervous last five minutes during which Matt Hullett should have taken the game into extra time but somehow shot over the crossbar from just six yards out...
