Premier Division supported by Sportsform Stotfold Development could only close the gap on league leaders Caldecote to seven points after they were held to a 3-3 draw at now fourth place Marston Shelton Rovers. Ashley Kersey with a brace and a lone strike from Mitch Gooch marking their scoresheet against a home Rovers hat-trick in reply from Harry Baker. Whilst Biggleswade FC Reserves are still in search of their first home points of the season and sitting in second from bottom spot in the league standings after Sharnbrook returned to winning ways for the first time in six outings in beating them 5-0. Braces from Josh Griggs and James Box plus a goal from Charlie Cocorane bringing up the nap hand. Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy 2nd Round With two goals from Callum Beer and a strike from Dan Stafford Flitwick Town ran out the 3-2 home winners over Queens Park Crescents whose replies came via Shahinur Rahman and Mohammed Abbass. Whilst Biggleswade Unted Reserves with a single goal from Nathan MCcalla made their exit when beaten 3-1 at South Midlands League Totternoe who goals came from Benedict Whalley with a brace and Mark Smith. The games AFC Oakley v Langford: Crawlety Green Reserves v AFC Kempston Town Hammers; 61 FC Luton v Riseley Sports and Elstow Abbey v Leighton Town Development all postponed and now rearranged for this coming weekend. Division One For league leaders Wootton Blue Cross it was an end to their seasons 100% home record when held to a 4-4 draw by AFC Oakley Development. Keaton Marsh, Jack Spada, Zepp McDonald and Ertone Bomole all finding the back of the net against AFC replies via Scott Armstrong with a brace plus David Groom and Omojiseeoluwa Bankole . However, their lead at the head of the standings is now up to four points after second place Totternoe Reserves were beaten 4-1 at Cranfield United Reserves. for whom Joseph Bygraves netted a hat-trick to go alongside a single goal from Ryan Mellor against a lone Totts reply from Lynden Smith. Having lost their last two home outings Renhold returned to winning ways with a 5-2 victory over Bedford SA. Glen Tumulty and Nathan France with doubles plus a goal from Marko Tobdzic bringing up the nap hand against SA replies from Oliver Raymond and Colby Smith. Whilst Henlow retained their season's unbeaten home ways after being gifted the three points when Milton Keynes Dons Set Development failed to raise a side to meet them at Groveside. The Buffs FC v Harlington Juniors game being postponed. Division Two North With AFC Bedford United having their home encounter with Shefford Town & Campton Development postponed the leadership of the Division Two North league table is now in the hands of Wilstead following their 3-1 home victory over M&DH Clapham Sports. Max Natola with a brace and a goal from Colin Marshall doing the damage against a lone reply via Adam Booth. Whilst climbing the table into third place are Caldecote Reserves who made it five wins on the bounce with a 5-0 home success over Blunham to leapfrog Ickwell & Old Warden on goal difference after their game at AFC Kempston Town Hammers Reserves was postponed. Nick Thomas with a brace plus goals from Christain Lamb, Christoper Clarke and Riley Evans beinging up the nap hand. For Kempston United it was a return to winning ways for the first time in four outings when a goal from Harvey Eagle took them to a 1-0 home victory over Wootton Blue Cross Reserves. Whilst Sandy duly climbed out of the drop zone when gifted the three points after Bande Rouge failed to raise a side to journey to Bedford Road and now drop in the standings to that second from bottom spot. Division Two South With second place Sporting Carpathians sitting the afternoon out they now find themselves down in third spot after Westoning Recreation climbed above them and took their unbeaten home ways up to six games in beating bottom of the table The 61 FC Luton Reserves 14-0. Charlie Scott led the way with four goals, Daniel Smith, George Nicholls, Sam Mumford and Bradley Freeman all netted braces and single goals came from Oscar Garner and Freddie Knight. However, Stopsley United increased their lead at the top of the table and remain 100% at home following a 4-3 home success over Lea Sports PSG thanks to goals from Bradley Collins, Callum Frater, James Potter and Jason Penman against PSG replies via Kian Davies, Rob Hennem and Jordan Parker. For Stotfold Junior it was a 5-3 home victory over second from bottom of the table FC Polonia (Luton) Ross Irving with a brace plus single goals from Joseph Evans, Sam Ricketts and Jacob Kirby bringing up the nap hand against replies via Andrew Martin, Fabien Pawelec and Peter Wilson for the visitors. The games Bletchley Scot v Flitwick Town Reserves and New Bradwell St Peters Development v Caddington postponed. Bedfordshire FA Junior Cup Second Round The two scheduled games , LU Donz v Brache Phoenix and Shefford Town & Campton u23 v Elstow Abbey Reserves postponed. Division Three supported by Hy-Pro With the GS Athletic v Leightom Woodside Rovers and Queens Park Development v Flitwick Town A games postponed the lone encounter to go ahead saw Harlington Juniors Reserves move back onto the top of the league table in winning 2-1 at Clifton Reserves to retain their seasons 100% away record. James Fletcher netted both goals against a home reply from Jensen Martin. Division Four With the games Ampthill Town Colts v Kempston Athletic: Dunstable Wanderers v M&DH Clapham Sports Reserves and Meltis Rangers v Sandy Reserves all postponed, the two games to go ahead saw them both end in 2-2 draws. Second place Atletic FC retained their season's unbeaten ways at Leighton Woodside Athletic thanks to a brace of goals from Gjet Rabeli against home replies from Freddie Richmond and Luke Spivey. Whilst Lidlington United Sports Club Colts goals came from Zak Nelson-Boudville and Stephen Rourke in their home outing against Catsbrook Wanderers for whom Jordan Holmes and John Gillians scored. |
