Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy. Final 
Before a Bedford Town Eyrie Stadium crowd of 269, Harlington Juniors became the first BCFL club to lift the Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy since Stevington in season 2018-19 when they emereged the 5-4 penalty shoot-out winners over South Midlands League Division One Cranfield United. 
It was the Juniors who struck first via Greg Bennett to take a fifth minute lead before some 20 minutes later they were reduced to 10 men when Harry Milton was red carded for preventing with his hands on the goal line a net bound effort from United. who then via Michael Pickard squared matters up at 1-1 from the penalty spot. 
Within eight minutes United had taken the lead, again Pickard being the scorer this time with a firm header, but just a minute from the break it was 2-2, again Pickard the scorer but this time alas for him into his own net. 
Try has both sides did the second half was not to bring about any goals to leave us with a dreaded penalty shoot-out to decide the Trophy winners for the first time since the 61 FC Luton beat AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College in season 2016.17. 
It was United who went first with that man Pickard shooting them ahead, first up for the Juniors was Ben Smith, alas his effort flew over the bar to hand the early advantage to the United, successful kicks from United's Andre Reece Brown and Leo Cimmino against Juniors replies from Ben Chapman and Greg Bennett brought us to the next pivotal moment of the contest with United's Kyle Johnson flying his effort and United's fourth towards the A603 to allow Juniors Tyler Ingham to step up and even the shoot-out at 3-3. 
Will Bolton for United and George Peddar for the Juniors made it 4-4. before Juniors goalkeeper Ryan Fitt got down well on his left handed post to save United first sudden death effort from Jise Bankole thus to allowing Jack O'Shea to step up and claim the winning goal to see the trophy heading back to Sundon Road.

Having lost their previous four away outings Wootton Blue Cross returned to winning ways on the road with a 4-0 victory over the bottom of the table Shefford Town & Campton Reserves with goals from Mason Marsh, Joel Simpson, Ryan Aka and George Armstrong.

Action tonight under the floodlights at Hitchin Road saw Harlington Juniors with a brace of goals from George Nichols and a strike from Luke Williams climb the league standings into fifth place with a 3-1 away victory over the hosting bottom of the table Shefford Town & Campton Reserves who despite a goal from Jake Edwards were falling to their 12th defeat on the bounce. 
Whilst over at the Verdant Stadium hosts Biggleswade United Reserves returned to winning ways for the first time in six outings when a goal from Dylan Hughes 20 minutes into the contest saw them claim all three points with a 1-0 victory over Wootton Blue Cross who were falling to their sixth consecutive to leave them ninth in the league table.
