New Manager Daniel Bailey as announced Sandy FC will return to training for the new season on Tuesday July 7th and there after each Thursday and Tuesday evenings in the run up to the seasons kick off at their Bedford Road Recreation Ground Headquarters.

AFC Kempston Town are proud to announce Kempston Windows as their new sponsor. Kempston based company Kempston Windows owner Wesley Matthews said he is happy to be backing a local team with big ideas. Matthews went on to say "I have been involved with local football for most of my life and was looking to put something back into the game. I know the some of the committee members at Kempston Town and I know that, despite being an amateur club, they are a very professionally run. I have signed a two year contract that will go some way to providing the financial support the club needs to run."

AFC Kempston Town Chair Paul Brown, former Bedford Town Chair, stated "this sponsorship deal secures Kempston Windows as our main sponsor for the next two years with the opportunity to extend the deal after that. It gives both parties the flexibility to develop with each other. We run two amateur adult and two youth level football teams and with costs rising year on year I think Wes was impressed with what the club had to offer both on and off the pitch".

Lee Moon, Town's Secretary, secured the deal by offering Kempston Windows their first team shirt deal along with advertising in the weekly programme and on the club website. "I know a lot of clubs at our level struggle financially which is why we try and offer something a little extra. Along with being an FA Charter Standard Club our programme will be seen by home and away players and supporters alike, plus up to 500 people who will use the AFC Kempston Clubhouse during the week. This gives us a massive captive audience that businesses can tap into" said Moon.

Moon also added "We are very proud at Town that we are a Kempston club with Kempston players, a Kempston based committee and now a Kempston based sponsor too. All our players pay to play and help from local businesses like Kempston Windows ensures we can keep those costs as low as possible for our players and members whilst offering the best possible facilities and equipment."

Premier Division Supported By Sportsform, Biggleswade United Reserves have announce the appointment of John Parker and Craig Stevens as its management team for season 2009-10, John being a former player with Biggleswade Town and Caldecote whilst Craig played with United and also at Caldecote, the pair in recent years have been heavily involved with United's Youth structure and thus are far from newcomers to the club.

Sandy FC Annual Jesse Piggott Memorial Trophy will go ahead this season with the Semi-Final games of the four team competition being played on Saturday August 15th and the 3rd place and Final tie on Saturday August 22nd, all games being played at Sandy FC, Bedford Road Recreation Ground.
