Notification is given that the following decisions were taken at last evenings management committee meeting and the following league table adjustments will now be made.

Newman United: Breach of league rules 18M/21C on Saturday 23rd April 2022 v Sporting Carpathians Reserves. Game 1-1 draw. The point gained in the game to be deducted for breach of rule 18M and three penalty points deducted for breach of rule 21C.

Sporting Carpathians Reserves. Breach of league rule 18M on Saturday 23rd April 2022 v Newman United. Game 1-1 draw. The point gained in the game to be deducted and one penalty point deducted for breach of rule 18M.

Queens Park Crescents. Breach of league rule 18M on Saturday 30th April 2022 v AFC Oakley. Game lost 1-4. Match result to stand and two penalty point deducted for breach of rule 18M.

Action tonight saw Newman United held to a 2-2 draw at Harlington Juniors Reserves meaning the battle for the Division Five gold and silver medals all comes down to a staight fight between Sporting Carpathians Reserves and Wootton Blue Cross U23's. Carpathians going into the last round of games leading the way three points clear of The Cross but having an inferior goal difference. Edward Prior and Harry Hensby netting for the home side against United replies via Joe Keegan and Denzel Gillard.

With Stevington for the second time inside 11 days failing to raise a side to travel to meet Crawley Green Reserves the gifted three points to The Green now takes them to the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform standings for the first time this season going into the last weekend of the season in which a victory at Riseley Sports will see them be crowned the 2021-22 season champions. Any slip up by The Green would then see Sharnbrook ( away to AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College ) or Biggleswade FC Reserves ( away at Shefford Town & Campton Reserves ) with the right outcome of their own contests crowned the champions.

Also failing to raise a side were AFC Oakley for their trip to Flitwick Town who were duly awarded the three points on offer. These points lifting the Town into eleventh place in the standings above Shefford Town & Campton Reserves who were beaten 1-4 at home by Marston Shelton Rovers who were returning to winning ways for the first time in eight outings. Harry Baker shooting The Rovers ahead in the fifth minute which was doubled on the half-hour by Perry Connolly before the home side via Callum Mckivett reduced the arrears 19 minutes into the second period. Alas there was to be no home comeback, Baker netting his second of the night nine minutes from time before deep in time added on Ben Moore added the fourth Rovers goal.

Also returning to winning ways were Queens Park Crescents in beating Riseley Sports 5-2. Kyle Andrews with a brace and single goals from Mason Watkins-Clark, Andre Reece -Brown and Ayaz Hussain bringing up the nap hand against a brace in reply from Sports Lewis Donald.

Division Two supported by Hy-pro action saw Wootton Blue Cross defeat AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves 4-0 thanks to goals from Joe Bygraves, Jack White, Joe Holmes and Josh Burnapp. Whilst AFC Oakley Reserves quest for a top three finish was dented when beaten 1-5 at home by FC Haynes . Chris Clark leading the way with a hat-trick alongside single goals from Ross Airson and Kieron Stock against a lone home reply via Josh Moran.

In Division Three supported by Hy-Pro action the dress rehearsal for this coming weekends Watson Shield Final saw FC Polonia end Sporting Carpathians unbeaten seasons home record and take the three points which ensures they will finish the season in third spot by winning 4-1. Marchin Bator with a brace plus single goals from Rafel Zawislan and Nikodem Kicoper only being replied to once by Madalin Corneanu.

In Division Five, Sandy Reserves ended a run of five straight away defeats by winning 2-1 at Clifton Reserves who were suffering their third defeat on the bounce. Michael Turner and James Scott netting for the visitors against a home reply via Ross Embleton.

Under the floodlights at Hillgrounds, the home of Kempston Rovers, league Life-President Peter Onion alongside league Vice-Chairman Roland Simmons where on hand to present the Jubilee Cup to Renhold after they emerged the 2-1 winners over Bedford SA before a crowd of 150. Within two minutes Renhold took the lead with a strike from Serge Kadji which they were lucky to keep just three minutes later when for the SA Ollie Hughes saw his effort come back off the uprights with Renhold goalkeeper Jordan McLennan well beaten.

Hughes however was to get his reward on 22 minutes to level the scorers with a well placed header and then perhaps should have headed his side in front 10 minutes into the new period when senting an effort over the crossbar from close range. Renhold were jumping for joy 15 minutes from time after Nevell Allen headed the ball in the back of the net only to then note the upraised flag of the assisant referee for offside.

Just when it looked like a dreaded penalty shoot-out was on the cards and the game into the final minute of the 90 a lapse of defending by SA allowed Roshan Singh Chagger the chance to steal in and net the winning goal thus engraving the name of Renhold onto the cup for the second time following their then Reserves sides victory in season 1975-76.
