Premier Division Supported By Sportsform, Wilshamstead FC have been awarded a 50% grant by the Football Foundation to purchase new, safer goalposts.

Through the Football Foundation's Goalposts safety scheme which has earmarked £4M to replace unsafe goals across the country, Wilshamstead will be able to benefit from equipment that meets higher safety standards.

Jim Struthers, the Wilshamstead Chairman said "this funding towards new safer goalposts is a fanstactic boost we hope to go on to replace our dilapdated changing facilities and clubhouse with the help of Wilstead Parish Council and the Football Foundation "

There are wins for the top three in the Premier Division Supported By Sportsform table, Caldecote 6-1 at home over Riseley Sports, Campton 3-1 at home over Wilshamstead whilst Meltis Corinthians win 3-1 at Blunham.

Dunton win for the first time at home this season 6-0 over now bottom of the table Henlow after Bedford Sports Athletic net a 3-1 home win over Oakley Sports.

Sharnbrook hit seven passed Renhold United without reply plus Ickwell & Old Warden end AFC Kempston Town's perfect home record with a 5-3 win.

Division One leaders Flitwick Town win again 2-1 at home over Kempston Hammers Sports.

Stevington come up with win number six on the bounce 5-2 at home against Campton Reserves

Blunham Reserves extend their lead at the head of the Division Two table with a 4-1 win at Meltis Corinthians Reserves.

Whilst Marsh Leys and Leighton United win the big games in Division Three.
