Division Three supported by Hy-Pro

Action in Division Three supported by Hy-Pro all centred around the three games in the 8th Annual Bedfordshire County Football League Hop. The day started in the morning at Real Haynes where the locals turned out in force alongside the groundhoppers to form a record league hop crowd of 196 some seven greater than which watched the 2014-15 season Premier Division supported by Sportsform clash between Shefford Town & Campton and Pavenham. For the home side it was a 7-0 romp to victory. Jack Kirkwood opening the scoring in the 17th minute which was 3-0 by half-time following a brace of goals from Aaron Lumsdon in the 29th and 32nd minute. Goal number four arrived via Masum Ahmed seven minutes into the new half before on the hour mark Lumsden saw his penalty kick saved by Blunham goalkeeper Dominic Higgins to deny him his hat-trick. However, Lumsden had to wait just another 60 seconds to claim his hat-trick when firing home goal number five. An own goal from James Sheath made it 6-0 in the 72nd minute before Josh Pearson completed the scoring 12 minutes from time.

It was now onto the Sixth Form College in Luton for game number two between start of play second place Stopsley United and unbeaten away from home Harlington Juniors who enter the fixture in fifth spot. With the locals now still back in Haynes the crowd count now read 128 and at the end of a blood and thunderous 90 mintes Harlington still sat in fifth place but Stopsley were now only goal difference above them in fourth place after the visitors had claimed a 3-2 victory. It was Harlington who had taken the lead in the 7th minute with a strike from Alex Franteillizzi ( or Alessandro) if you had happen to have asked his mother for the goalscorers name . Just two minutes later the home side were on level terms with a peach of a strike from Ashley Prospere and that's the way it stayed until the 40th minute when Darren Bryan struck to restore the visitors lead.

There was then drama during the half-time interval when referee Kelvin Thompson felt too ill to continue and handed over his whistle and cards to the watching fellow referee David Snaith whose fixture at Houghton Athletic had been postponed. David needing to use those cards just 16 minutes into play in the second period in showing red to United's Callum Frater and Harlington's Ryys Thompson who following a tackle by Thompson ended up in a fist fight to signal their end of play action. With just 14 minutes left to play a powerful header from the visitors Kevin Lambert took his side 3-1 clear which was then reduced by a likewise powerful header from United's Sean Downey to make it 2-3 with the watch showning 90 minutes played. However the visitors somehow held on for the five extra minutes added on time to claim all three points.

It was now a treak across Luton/ Dunstable to the third game between the hosting seventh place Lancot Park and the start of day league leaders Luton Allstars, where before a crowd of 118 the Park ran out 5-1 winners to move up into sixth place and with results elsewhere not going the Allstars way at close of play they were now sitting third in the league standings. The opening drama came in the 17th minute when Allstars Troy Ottah saw his penalty well saved by Park's goalkeeper Keith Moore until the opening goal arrived from Allstars Nick Katombe in the 35th minute before the Park quickly turned things around to lead 2-1 at the break via goals from Peter Wilson in the 38th minute and Jamie Nolan in the 41st minute.

The game was then perhaps settled when from the penalty spot Ryan Douglas made it 3-1 in the 61st minute and certainly settled when Wilson grabbed his second of the afternoon to make it 4-1 some 15 minutes from time and to add icing to the Park's cake Dean Wrench netted the nap hand goal in the 88th minute.

All of which meant that the new Division Three supported by Hy-Pro league leaders are now Stevington Reserves who retained their seasons 100% home ways with a 4-0 victory over bottom of the table Potton. Jamie Daniels with a brace plus goals from Kieran McEvoy and Dan Lekha-Heron doing the damage. Plus Wixams Wanderers are now up into second spot and still unbeaten at home this season following their 8-2 victory over M&DH Clapham Sports who were suffering defeat number five on the bounce. Joe Holmes and Elliot Leadbetter both netting hat-tricks to go alongside single goals for Mason Smith and Alex Moore against M&DH replies via Ollie McBeth and Aaron Hannigan.

Elsewhere, Lidlington United Sports are now unbeaten in their last four starts after winning 6-1 at Shefford Town & Campton A. Jamie Rodd with a hat-trick, Carl Pearson with a brace and a single goal from Michael Ventriglia doing the damage against a lone Town reply from Liam Radley. Whilst FC Polonia (Luton) claimed their first away win of the season in winning 5-2 at Wootton Village. Przemek Gorezyra with a brace supported by single strikes from Arkadiusz Lenwon, Marcin Bator and Damian Slawkowski bringing up the nap hand against a Village brace in reply from Elliot Lewis.

Division Four

Brickhill Wanderers now find themselves five points clear at the head of the Division Four standings after they retained their seasons 100% record by winning 3-2 at second place Sandy Reserves. Vijay Banga, Stephen Champion plus a penalty from Antony Geary marking their scoresheet against a home brace in reply from Aiden Howard. Whilst Flitwick Town A remain in third spot despite losing their seasons 100% record when beaten 1-2 at home by White Eagles who were winning on the road for the first time this season. Oskar Szaryca and Adam Chmiel the Eagles goalscorers against a lone Town reply from Alan Henham.

Meantime, Lea Sports Reserves remain unbeaten for the season and in fourth place after drawing 1-1 at Kempston Rovers. Aaron Bean on their scoresheet against a Rovers reply via Harry Clark. Still unbeaten on the road this season are Square FC who required just a goal from Connor Taylor to win 1-0 at Catsbrook Wanderers. Whilst Bedford Santos claimed their first win of the season 4-1 at bottom of the table Revivalists . Sabin Manae netting twice alongside single goals for Michael Sikorski and Ted Billington against a lone home reply Harold Stevens .

Elsewhere, Real Haynes Reserves were the 4-1 home winners over Bedford Albion A. Dale Walker with a brace plus goals from Elliot Richardson and Tyne Martin only being replied to once by Albion's Jimmy Jacob.
