Pines (Luton) lose their unbeaten league ways at St Joseph (saturday)

Premier Division supported by Sportsform
There is no change at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform standings following wins for the top two clubs, league leaders Stevington retaining their season unbeaten ways with a 2-0 away victory at Biggleswade United U23 thanks to goals from Billy Pinney and Kieran Souter to stay two points clear of Cranfield United who ran out 6-0 home winners over Riseley Sports. Courtney Broughton leading the way with a hat-trick, Drew Mitten weighing in with a brace plus an own goal marking the United scoresheet. However, the result of the day saw Marston Shelton Rovers gain their first away win of the season in beating Crawley Green Reserves 4-1. Nick Skolsky with a hat-trick and a single goal from Matthew Eddie doing the damage against a lone home reply via Timmy Akerele. Whilst Flitwick Town were the 3-2 home winners over Bedford Albion to climb the league standings into third spot. Tom Barnett, James Fletcher and Dan Stafford all finding the back of the net against Albion replies from Dan Jeffries and Jesse Sidhu. The games AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College v Wilstead. Queens Park Crecents v Biggleswade FC Reserves and Shefford Town & Campton Reserves v AFC Oakley all postponed due to waterlogged pitches. Division One Just two games were to beat the weather one of which saw Elstow Abbey go six points clear at the head of the league table after winning 2-1 at Totternhoe Reserves to retain their seasons unbeaten away ways. Jason Allison and Sheldon Washington on their scoresheet against a lone reply via Jordan Edingborough. Whilst Henlow are now up to fourth place following their 2-0 home win over Houghton Athleti thanks to a brace of goals from Cameron Care. The postponed games being Kempston Athletic v Ampthill Town Development, Lea Sports PSG v Flitwick Town Reserves. Stotfold Development v AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Resserves and The 61 FC Luton Reserves v Wilstead Reserves. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro In a programme reduced to just four games league leaders Pines (Luton) were to lose their seasons unbeaten ways when beaten 1-0 at St Joseph (Saturday ) who were duly retaining their own 100% seasons home ways thanks to a 23rd minute goal from Ryan Mcnabola. Whilst third place AFC Oakley Reserves retained their seasons unbeaten home ways in beating Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves 5-1. Joe Mcdonagh netting three times plus Alex Liburd and Carl Warner once each to bring up the nap hand against a lone Rovers reply via Carl Borromeo. For Eaton Park Rovers it was a 3-1 home win over Atletico Europa with goals from Sam Pritchard, Cameron Crisp and Razvan Trandafir against a lone reply from Aaron Van Horn. Whilst Sundon Park Rovers were the likewise 3-1 home winners over Bedford Albion Reserves. Cameron Kent with a brace plus Ben Pincher on the Rovers scoresheet against a lone Albion reply from Brett Davis. Postponed were the games Caldecote Reserves v CS Rovers. Clifton v Renhold and Sandy v Sharnbrook. Division Three supported by Hy-Pro In one of just three games to beat the weather Stopsley United took themselves back onto the top of the league table in winning 5-2 at Blunham. 3-0 ahead at the break following a hat-trick from Ian Mcguinnes, two with his head and one from the penalty spot then saw the home side reduce the arrears in the opening minute of the second period via David Garofalo and stay in the game until 15 minutes from time when goals from Cullam Frater and Pearce Tracey inside 60 seconds took United 5-1 clear before Garofalo added a second goal to the home side scoreline just two minutes later. Also enjoying life on the road were Real Haynes the 3-0 winners at Luton Allstars thanks to a hat-trick from Aaron Lumsden plus Shefford Town & Campton A who likewise won 3-0 at Wootton Village. Ricky Lawrence, Kyle Cook and Jacob Jevon netting the goals. Postponed were the games FC Polonia (Luton) v Lidlington United Sports. Harlington Juniors v M&DH Clapham and Lancot Park v Wixams Wanderers. Division Four Brickhill Wanderers remain unbeaten at home this season but now only eight points clear at the head of the league table after being held to a 0-0 draw by Square FC. Whilst second place Real Haynes Reserves were the 3-1 home winners over Lea Sports PSG Reserves. Dale Walker, Llloyd McCabe and Lyanu Adenmosua on the home scoresheet against a lone reply from Aaron Bean. Now up into fourth place are Flitwick Town A following their 5-0 home victory over Sandy Reserves. Alan Henman, Dan Howarth, Max Hughes, Liam Newton and Kevin Higby all finding the back of the net to bring up the nap hand. Whilst the biggest win of the day belonged to Bedford Albion A who ran out 8-2 home winners over Revivalists. Brad Duffet leading the way with four goals plus single strikes coming from Pask Grasso, Dan Litchfield, Ash Marsh and Chuka Maduburke against a brace in reply from Harold Stevens. Elsewhere, Catsbrook Wanderers returned to winning ways for the first time in seven outings with a 3-2 home win over White Eagles. Joshua Cox with a brace plus a single goal from Jake Cox outweighing Eagles replies via Stefan Tomic and Mark Bello Charles. Whilst Kempston Rovers were the 2-0 home winners over Bedford Santos thanks to a brace of goals from Fabien Newell. |
