League suffer heavy FA Inter-League Cup Exit
FA Inter League Cup 1st Round

The Bedfordshire County Football League were to make their exit from this seasons FA Inter League Cup at the opening hurdle when beaten on home turf ( Cranfield United) 7-0 by the Staffordshire County Senior League. Prior to kick off a minutes silence was untaken in memory of the leagues Bedfordshire FA Representative Alan Scott who sadly passed away earlier in the day following a short illness. At half-time the scoreline read just 0-1 via a headed goal in the 22nd minute from Jeff Jolly. However in effect it was game over within five minutes of the restart as a brace of goals from Jordan Hall raced the visitors into a 3-0 lead. On the hour mark Nathan Mellor made it 4-0 before ten minutes later Gabriel Chimuzinga grabbed the nap hand goal which was quickly followed by goal number six from Liam Shaw who then completed the scoring with his second of the afternoon in the 90th minute.

Premier Division supported by Sportsform

In the restricted programme of Premier Division supported by Sportsform games Riseley Sports took themselves to the top of the league standings despite being held to a 2-2 home draw by now third place Stevington who were duly retaining their seasons unbeaten ways. Jack Healy and Alex Taylor netting for the home side against replies via Mitch Crook and Martin Danebrega. Whilst down at the other end of the table Wootton Blue Cross remain pointless and rooted to bottom spot after losing 5-0 at Biggleswade FC Reserves who were gaining their first home points of the season to climb into seventh place. Oscar Smith and John Veal both netting braces alongside a single goal for Kian Coles to bring up the nap hand.

Across the other side of town Biggleswade United Under 23's returned to winning ways with a 4-2 home win over Flitwick Town. Mila Keane netting twice to go alongside single goals for Martin Russell and Charisma Agyemang against Town replies from Phil Matthews and Tom Barnett.

Division One

Cranfield United Reserves remain 100% for the season and increase their lead at the head of the Division One standings to five points after winning 4-2 at second place Henlow. Patrick Lawrence, Joseph Bygraves, Martin Holland and Daniel Jones netting the goals to do the damage against home replies from Cameron Care and Jake Green. Whilst Elstow Abbey jumped the standings into third place just a point shy of Henlow and having played one fewer game after emerging the 6-2 winners at Kempston Athletic who were duly losing their seasons 100% home ways. Marko Tobdzic, Scott Joseph, Jason Allison, Aaron Jones, Tom Watts and Sheldon Washington all finding the back of the net against Athletic replies from Dan Mattin and Harvey Eagle.

Just goal diffrence behind the Abbey are Sporting Lewsey Park who made it three wins on the bounce with a 5-2 victory at Ampthill Town Development. Chris Gibson with a hat-trick and Luke Lincoln with a brace bringing up the nap hand against Town replies via Tommy Jackson and Connor Saunders. Whilst Flitwick Town Reserves won 4-3 at Bedford SA. Daniel Stafford netting twice to go alongside single goals for Scott Gadsden and Sean O'Donnell against a brace from Alex Hughes and a goal for Ollie Hughes marking the home scoresheet.

Also enjoying life on the road and picking up their first points of the season were Houghton Athletic the 4-1 victors at Stotfold Development to send the home side to their first defeat of the season. Gavin Watson, Leroy White, Darion Bound and Oiounwa Amadi on the Athletic scoresheet against a lone home reply from Nile Waite. Also winning for the first time this season were The 61 FC Luton Reserves the 1-0 home winners over AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves thanks to a strike from Kane Dempsey.

Elsewhere, Totternhoe Reserves returned to winning ways with a 3-2 home win over Lea Sports PSG who had come into the game unbeaten for the season. Jordan Edinborough, Callum Horgan and Joe Dixon the Tott's marksmen against PSG replies from Liam Andrews and George Higley.

Division Two supported by Hy-Pro

Pines (Luton) remain a point clear at the head of the DivisionTwo supported by Hy-Pro standings and unbeaten for the season following their 8-1 home victory over Renhold. Ryan Smith and Andy McMaster both leading the way with hat-tricks to go alongside single strikes from Jonathan Barnett and James Duguid, the visitors reply coming via an own goal. Now up into second spot just a point behind the leaders having played one game fewer and goal difference ahead of third place AFC Oakley Reserves are Sharnbrook who retained their seasons 100% ways by winning 9-2 at Luton Leagrave AFC. Alex Horn with a hat-trick joined on their scoresheet by single goals from Jamie Evans, James Wilkinson, Jason Hurley, Issac Jones, Harry Chinn and Josh Griggs against home replies via Matt McMillan and Louie Grant.

For third place AFC Oakley Reserves who remain 100% for the season it was a thrilling 4-3 home victory over Clifton who with two goals from Liam Phillps and a strike from Michael Hall led 3-0 at half-time before second period braces from Alex Liburd and Joe McDonagh took the home side to victory. Now in fourth spot and still 100% for the season are St Joseph ( Saturday) the 3-2 home winners over Sundon Park Rovers. Tom O'Mara, Danny McGovern and Peter Hiney on their scoresheet against Rovers replies via Ethan Tenn and Ben Pincher.

Elsewhere, picking up their first points of the season were Bedford Albion Reserves who ran out 4-2 home winners over Eaton Park Rangers. Aaron Fletcher netting twice plus single goals from Gavin Cheema and Cameron Brown only being replied to by Rangers strikes from Josh Unwin and Razvan Trandafir. Whilst gaining their first away victory of the season were Atletico Europa the 4-3 victors at Sandy. Faysel Birhanu with a brace joined on the visitors scoresheet by Mo Banda and Emmanuel Adjei against home replies via a brace from the penalty spot by Conor Green and a strike from Lee Threadgold.

Also enjoying life on the road were Caldecote Reserves who also gained their first away win of the season 2-1 at CS Rovers. Goals from Cameron McCoy and Nick Thomas doing the damage against a lone Rovers reply from Chris MCSwiggan.

Division Three supported by Hy-Pro

Now leading the way at the head of the Division Three supported by Hy-Pro standing are Luton Allstars after they were gifted three points when Potton failed to raise a side to host them at their Stratton School base. Just a point behind them having played two games fewer are Stopsley United who maintained their seasons 100% ways with a 6-1 win at Real Haynes. Paul Oakley and James Potter with braces joined on the United scoresheet by single goals for Farrel Whitman and Ash Prospere against a lone home reply from Alistair Bucknall.

Now in third spot just goal difference adrift of United are Stevington Reserves who retained their seasons 100% home ways by beating Blunham 4-3. Jamie Daniels netting all four goals against replies via Jamie Morallee twice and David Garofalo once. Dropping from the top spot down into fourth place are Wixams Wanderers who lost their seasons unbeaten ways when beaten 5-2 at Lidlington United Sports who duly retained their seasons unbeaten home ways. Jamie Rodd with a hat-trick and Michael Ventriglia with a brace bringing up the nap hand against Wanderers replies via Mason Smith and Jamie Seminerio.

The biggest win of the day going to Lancot Park the 7-0 home winners over Wootton Village. Dean Wrench, Peter Wilson and Chris Horncastle all netting twice and joined on the Park scoresheet by a single goal from Nathan Boyle. Whilst Shefford Town & Campton A were the 4-2 home winners over M&DH Clapham Sports. Bradley Vought, Ryan Dobson, Kyle Cook and Ross Cook on the Town scoresheet against M&DH replies via Regan Barrs and Phil Kempsell.

Meantime, the lone stalemate of the day saw FC Polonia (Luton) lose their seasons 100% home record when held to a 2-2 draw by Harlington Juniors. Marcin Bator netting both of their goals against replies via Jamie Small and Ben Chapman.

Division Four

Now two points clear at the head of the Division Four standings are Brickhill Wanderers who remain 100% for the season after winning 9-1 at Revivalists who stay rooted to the other end of the league table. Daley Hibbert leading the way with four goals and joined on the scoresheet by single goals from Ashley Coleman, Stephen Champion, Vijay Banga, Nick Vider and Antony Geary against a lone home reply from Aaron Wandji. Whilst second place Sandy Reserves failed to make it five wins on the bounce when held to a 1-1 draw at Lea Sports PSG Reserves who were duly losing their seasons 100% home record. Aaron Bean netting for PSG and Aiden Howard for Sandy.

Still 100% for the season are third place Flitwick Town A who netted a 2-1 home victory over Bedford Albion A. Gareth White and Alan Henham seeing their goals only replied to once by Albion's Luke Marsh. Whilst also enjoying life on home soil or should that read home 3G were White Eagles with a 4-2 victory over Catsbrook Wanderers. Jordan Farmer with a brace plus single goals from Marchin Ptak and Arkadiusk Szcepanski only being replied to twice by single Wanderers strikes from Lewis Holmes and Michael Boyd.

Elsewhere, Kempston Rovers returned to winning ways with a 5-3 win at Wootton Village Reserves. Kian Morey with a hat-trick and Lorenzo Filip with a brace bringing up the nap hand against Village replies via Sam Marshall twice and Dan Boyles once.
