All Four Away sides win in the Beds FA Junior Cup Quarter-Final Ties

Premier Division supported by Sportsform
Stevington remain five points clear at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform standings after their retained their season unbeaten ways with a 2-1 home victory over Biggleswade FC Reserves. Billy Pinney plus an own goal marking their scoresheet against a lone reply from Kian Coles. For second place Cranfield United it was a 2-0 home win over Shefford Town & Campton Reserves thanks to goals from Rob Lindsay and Ashley Farmer. Whilst third place AFC Oakley lost their seasons 100% home record when held to a 4-4 draw by Biggleswade United U23. Robbie Alder, Nathan Aulsberry, Chisom Amadi and Kyle Hawthorne netting for the home side against United replies via Robbie Hunt, Nyasha Sagwete, Milo Keene and Kurt Alleyne. However perhaps the stand out result of the afternoon saw Caldecote take their unbeaten home ways up to four games in beating Queens Park Crescents 4-2. Liam Brophy, Jake Bruce, Jack Miller and a Andrew Vallom penalty making their scoresheet against a Crescents brace in reply from Scott Alleyne. Whilst Marston Shelton Rovers have now won their last four home games after beating Wilstead 2-0 with goals from Nick Skolsky and Harry Murray. Elsewhere, AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College with a goal from Johhny Richens drew 1-1 at home against Bedford Albion for whom Jesse Sidhu replied. Whilst Flitwick Town were held to a 2-2 home draw by Riseley Sports. Dan Stafford and Sean O'Donnell netting for the Town against visiting replies via Jack Healy and Richard Ball. Division One With morning league leaders Cranfield United Reserves sitting the afternoon out their place at the head of the standings is now in the hands of Elstow Abbey after they made it five wins on the bounce with a 8-1 home victory over Totternhoe Reserves. Jason Allison leading the way with a hat-trick, Marko Tobdzic weighing in with a brace plus single goals coming the way of Sheldon Washington, Glenn Tumulty and Kaylen Wilson against a lone reply via Luke Paquette. Whilst for third place Sporting Lewsey Park it was a 7-0 home victory over 61 FC Luton Reserves. Chris Gibson netting a hat-trick to go alongside single goals from Lewis McLoughlin, Liam Jarvis, Kyle Blanchfllower and Lee Mooney. Having lost their last four outings Lea Sports PSG returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory at Houghton Athletic. Milton Tomlinson and Callum Jones netting the goals against a lone home reply via Marcus Goble. Whilst also enjoying life on the road were Ampthill Town Development who with a goal from Ben Porter won 1-0 at AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves. Elsewhere, Flitwick Town Reserves were the 2-1 home winners over Stotfold Development. Gareth Fossey and Scott Gadsden netting for the Town against a lone reply from Jack Holmes. Whilst the Henlow v Bedford SA game will be be the centre of a Beds FA and league enquiry after being abandoned early in the second half whilst the home side were 4-1 ahead. The Wilstead v Kempston Athletic game postponed due to an unfit pitch at Jubilee Playing Fields. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro With the top two clubs away on Beds FA Junior Cup duty for third place AFC Oakley Reserves it was a 2-1 away win at Sundon Park Rovers. Joe McDonagh netting both goals against a Rovers reply via Courtney Francis. Whilst now in fourth place are Eaton Park Rangers who also won 2-1 at CS Rovers thanks to goals from Sam Pritchard and Cullum Stockwell against a Rovers reply via Aiden Dawson. Also enjoying life on the road to pick up their first away win of the season were Renhold with a 5-3 victory at Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves. Tom Behan, Kieran Langley, Delroy Phillips, Reece Baker and Matthew Phelan all netting to bring up the nap hand against home replies from Jonathan Smith, Jack Peddar and Carl Borromeo. Whilst Clifton took their winning ways up to three games with a 4-1 home victory over Sandy. Joe Worboys and Dylan Donaldson both hitting braces against a lone reply from Chris Mattingley. Elsewhere, Luton Leagrave AFC shared the spoils in drawing 2-2 at home against Caldecote Reserves. Nico Covileac and Louie Grant on the home scoresheet against visiting replies via Charlie Wright and Nick Thomas. Meantime, the Bedford Albion Reserves v Atletico Europa game will now be subject to a Beds FA and league enquiry after being abandoned some two minutes from time with the sides deadlocked at 1-1. Beds FA Junior Cup Quarter-Finals It was a good day for the visitors with all four sides winning. The biggest win of the day going to Sharnbrook who with a brace from Harry Chinn plus a strike from Bradley Raines won 3-0 at Stevington Reserves. Whilst Real Haynes were the 1-0 winners at Bedford Santos. Hayden Dormer netting the vital goal but perhaps their real hero was goalkeeper Ben Fruscante who saved a 92nd minute penalty. The other two ties were to go to a penalty shoot-out. Stotfold Junior Town and St Joseph ( Saturday) deadlocked at 0-0 before St Joe's won the shoot-out 5-4 and Stopsley United emering 4-3 shoot-our winners at Pines (Luton) after 90 minutes play had saw the game deadlocke at 1-1. Ryan Smith netting for the home side and Pat Daly for the visitors. Division Three supported by Hy-Po With Stopsley United away on Beds FA Junior Cup duty they were to lose their position at the head of the Division Three supported by Hy-Pro league table to FC Polonia (Luton) who took their winning ways up to eight games with a 5-1 home victory over M&DH Clapham. Grzegorz Rudnicki with a brace joined on their scoresheet by single goals from Marchin Bator, Mateusz Domisz and Robert Mikolajczak against a lone reply from Owen Tuffin. Whilst third place Harlington Juniors are now on a five game winning run after netting a 8-1 home victory over Shefford Town & Campton A. Jamie Small leading the way with four goals, Darren Bryan netting twice and single goals scored by Darian Graham and Lui Tomlinson. Down at the other end of the standings Blunham netted their first home win of the season in beating Wootton Village 4-1 to exchange places with them in the league standings. Joe McGilley netting twice alongside single goals from Robbie Richmond and Aaron Morgan against a lone Village reply from Dan Boyles. Elsewhere it was joy on the road for Lancot Park who won 3-2 at Luton Allstars. Jamie Nolan, Sammy Okere and Adam Oliver on the Park scoresheet against Allstars replies via Mikael Edubatey and Jordan West. Whilst Lidlington United Sports made it five away wins on the bounce with a 3-1 victory at Wixams Wanderers. Jhey Tompkins, Callum Burchett and Jamie Rudd on the United scoresheet against a lone Wanderers reply from Rob Simkins. Division Four The biggest winners of the day were Sandy Reserves who climbed up into fourth place with a 6-1 home win over Bedford Albion A. Aiden Howard netting a hat-trick, Curtis Hassell a brace and Jack Hutchinson a single goal against a lone reply from Antony Foreman. Also netting six goals to claim their first home win of the season were Kempston Rovers in beating White Eagles 6-3. Fabien Cataldo and Fabien Newell both netting twice alongside an own goal and a strike from Harry Clark against Eagles replies via Oskar Szarycz, Adam Chiapinski and Lukasz Nalelz. For second place Real Haynes Reserves it was a 3-0 home win over Square FC. Jack Lannon, Brandon Brown and Tyne Martin all finding the back of the net. Whilst Flitwick Town A claimed their first away victory in seven outings in winning 2-0 at Revivalists thanks to goals from Dan Howarth and Jamie Smith. Also enjoying life on the road were Lea Sports PSG Reserves the 2-1 winners at Catsbrook Wanderers. Lewis Lankin and George Calvent their goalscorers against a lone Wanderers reply via Lewis Holmes. |
