The lone top flight action saw Crawley Green Reserves extend their unbeaten ways to four games and visitors Queens Park Crescents take their unbeaten away ways up to three games after the clubs shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Reece Green and Adam Marsh on the home scoresheet against Crescents replies via Chisom Amadi and Mohammed Raheem Jabber. A result that now means Marston Shelton Rovers will finish the season in third place. Division One supported by O'Neills The biggest win of the day was to see Cranfield United Reserves claim a 4-0 home victory over The 61 FC Luton Reserves. Jordan Conway with a hat-trick and a single strike from Joe Sames doing the damage. Whilst Lea Sports PSG returned to winning ways with a 3-0 home win over Sandy. Charlie Betts, Sean Dixon and an own goal marking their card. Enjoying life on the road were silver medalists Bedford Albion who won 3-2 at Wilstead Reserves. Paul Babbington, Stefan Bucur and Liam Fenton on their scoresheet against home replies via Kesh Sergeon and Lino Altierl. Whilst also winning on the road were Cople & Bedford SA by 3-1 at AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves. Ollie Hughes netting twice and Gary Canzano once against a lone Town reply from Elliot West. Division Two supported by Hy-Pro For St Joseph (Saturday) it was a first away win in six outings with a 5-2 victory at Unite MK Reserves who were losing for the seventh time on the bounce. Kenan Dogruer and Simon Richards both netting twice and Donal Martin once to bring up the nap hand against Unite replies via Jason Hart and Sean Bossman-Aggrey. Also winning 5-2 were Sundon Park Rovers to take their unbeaten home ways up to six games in beating Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves. Jahmel James leading the way with a hat-trick and joined on the Rovers scoresheet by Ethan Tenn and Martyn Dawson against visiting replies via Markel Cousins and Gary Russon. Just a goal behind these two sides were Luton Leagrave AFC who were 4-3 home winners over AFC Oakley M&DH Reserves. Lewis Bloomfield with a brace plus Hartley Coleman and Sam Cox netting for the home side against a M&DH hatrick from Joe Mcdonagh in reply. Also winning on home soil were Houghton Athletic who needed just a goal from Gavin Watson to claim a 1-0 victory over Clifton. Elsewhere, just a lone goal from Harry Ellis saw Meltis Albion claim all three points in winning 1-0 at Black Swan (Luton) Whilst M&DH Clapham were granted the three points when Caldecote Reserves failed to raise a side to journey and meet them. Jubilee Cup Final On a perfect playing surface at Elstow Abbey the 2018-19 season Jubilee Cup was claimed by Kempston Athletic in beating CS Rovers 5-1. Ahead in the 11th minute via Gary Whitbread the game looked all over by half-time following goals from Craig Damon and a header from Daniel Mattin to race them into a 3-0 lead. Yet just five minutes into the second period Connor Darocha reduced the arrears to 3-1 from the penalty spot to give the Rovers hope. This hope lasted just three minutes before a James Maxwell header made it 4-1 and then Josh St Clair Pierre brought up the nap hand in the 65th minute to claim the final goal of the day. Division Three supported by Hy-Pro In taking their unbeaten away ways up to nine games by winning 1-0 at Real Haynes it was the reward of this seasons silver medals for Thurleigh. Bradley Raines netting the goal. Whilst Division Three champions Pines (Luton) took their winning ways up to six games with a 9-0 home win over Wootton Village. Ryan Smith leading the way with five goals, Sean Sheridan netting twice and single strikes being delivered by Andy McMaster and Alan Morris. For Flitwick Town A it was a 7-3 home victory over Wixams Wanderers. Max Hughes with a hat-trick, Dave Lyons with a brace joined on the Town scoresheet by single goals from Daniel Stafford and Gareth Loadman against Wanderers replies via an own goal, Michael France and Carmine Cientanni from the penalty spot. Whilst Harlington Juniors ran out the 4-1 winners at Real Haynes Reserves. Alex Frantellizzi with a brace plus single goals from Luca Frantellizzi and Josh Slack only being replied to once by Matthew Turner for the home side. |
